My problem with the game is how does the tongs go on the tools by the fireplace in chapter 8. I have tried various ways and nothing helps. Had to the chapter a second time and still I having problems getting the fourth tool to go on the stand. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

It seems that all the trouble is with the puzzles that have 4 or 5 steps to complete and item. Finding objects is fine but completing items is not working. Too bad I had to waste like 12 tokens to play this game that doesn't seem to have all the bugs worked out yet. -

Sorry! Didn't do that right! I agree - the puzzles are very glitchy. The first time I played I got right to the last scene, then I was told I was out of time and then it said story complete! I had to uninstall and reinstall and play again to find out who did it! Which is another point where this game is so disappointing: replay value is negligible. i have replayed and enjoyed the other two several times.

In what order does the tools for the chimney, for chapter 8. I have done this 3 times and the tongs won't go on the stand. Is there anybody who could help me with this?

Try moving the last cup around on the tray. If that doesn't work, try moving it to the left at the back.hope that helps.

Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately I've clicked everywhere on that tray, tried putting cups on in a different order, etc. . . but to no avail. After reading other comments on this thread, I'm chalking it up to an error in the game.

I started the game over and found that if you put the cups near the very edge of the tray, the cups will stay on the tray. Hope that works.

In chapter 8 I can't get the 'N' to go into the word...is anyone else having this problem....its driving me crazy and I can't move on because of it.

Did anyone else happen to have trouble in chapter 5 when you're asked to put five teacups on a tray? I can get four on okay, but the fifth one doesn't seem to want to stay on. I click the cup (the one on the ground) and the game makes a sound indicating I found the correct object, but no matter where on the tray I click, it doesn't stay. I must be missing something really obvious, but I don't know what!
