I loved this HOG! The graphics are bright and cheery in most cases (none of this "Let's hide stuff by making everything pitch black!" nonsense) and the story is cute and amusing. I love the fact that you can slide objects around and open things! So clever! And in later rounds, you can even completely remove some larger objects to look behind them. The characters are engaging and interesting and even the silliest mini-games try to give you a reason for doing them. All-in-all, a very cute game that any HOG fan should try out! :) Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

First of all if you are thinking about getting this game because of the zoo theme, you may be disappointed. Very little has to do with animals. That being said, this is still a fun game. Some parts are a little challenging, but over all would be good for kids. Some good mini games, but if you don't like the games you can play a mode that is Hidden Object only. One of the more fun aspects of the game is having to move items, or use an umbrella to search in the rain. Nice touch. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

When I played the beta test for this I didn’t really like it. And after playing it I have mixed feelings about it. It added some unique elements like the Plazmatron. Placing the icon over specific items would make them disappear for a short period of time so that you could locate hidden objects. You could move certain items to uncover other objects. It was highly interactive. You weren’t just searching for items on a list. They gave you the pictures instead which was nice. But I guess the reason why I’m conflicted is because it just dragged on too long. There were 15 locations and 54 mini games that were divided into 27 levels. It just wasn’t balanced. I wish they would have spent more time on creating additional search locations and less on the mini games which became a little annoying towards the end. You could skip them, but I just think they wasted too much time on them. In comparison, “Return to Ravenhearst” had about 26 puzzles and about 45 search locations. And ironically, some people felt like there were too many puzzles and not enough hidden object despite the fact there were almost twice as many search locations. So you can imagine how unbalanced “3 Days, Zoo Mystery” might feel. I think they had the right idea with the story by trying to make it into an investigation. But you spent more time doing puzzles, and little time investigating. It was a good attempt, but not something that I would want to play again. For $9.99 it wasn’t bad. The game started out promising and had an interesting premise, but at times the whole thing just felt forced. Graphically it was nice, but somewhat uninspired. There just wasn’t enough of a story there to warrant 54 mini games. It was overkill. If you like more simplistic puzzles and longer hidden object games, then you might enjoy this one. I liked it, but there are other hidden object games that I liked more. It was fun for awhile. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Hidden objects easy to find. you have to move items to find some. great graphics and storyline.Repeatedly finding objects in the nursery gets boring but mini games fun. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I'm usually avoiding HOG's nowadays as they look exactly like one another. But Zoo Mystery was really fun to play. Except the missing Jigsaw pieces I liked it a lot. Recommended especially for HOG fans and also for those who are sick and tired of HOGs. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

This game became one of my all-time favorites before I even finished the demo. I'd hate to admit how many hours I spent glued to the screen because I just couldn't tear myself away. I loved the wide variety of mini-games, many with original variations. The only negatives were a few errors that should have been caught by a proofreader such as afternoon times that said AM instead of PM and a couple awkward sentences. None of those affected gameplay though. A few items, mostly handprints, were hard to find because they were on dark surfaces or in dark corners but the hint system works great and hints seemed to be unlimited although I didn't actually need very many. I also liked the fact that the game keeps scores so you can compete against yourself if you re-play. I hope the developers are working on another game with the same features.
