When Jess meets her twin Ylli, his voice is very raspy and difficult to hear.I wrote to the game developer and they were kind enough to give me the dialogue between Jess and Ylli.Below is the dialogue when they meet and also for the three possible endings.
I thought this dialogue was interesting and it gives us some insight into what might unfold in the sequel.
When Jess meets Ylli for the first time in the tower:
YLLI - Setareh. My sister.
JESS - I’m sorry it took me so long to find you.
YLLI - You didn’t know. How could you? Do you know what your name means?
Star. It’s Persian.
JESS - Ylli, you have to tell me what to do now.
YLLI - What do you mean?
JESS - We have to leave...before Crawford finds out I’m here and tries to stop us.
YLLI - You don’t need to worry about him.
JESS - But he’s keeping you here. Like a prisoner. You and Celeste. And he’s used your powers to--
YLLI - --Adrian took care of us, Setareh. It was members of the ORDER who betrayed us. They wanted me to die. I don’t want to go anywhere, not even with you. THIS is my home.
JESS - Crawford killed our mother!
YLLI - It was Celeste herself who chose to die. All she had to do was relinquish her power to me. I hope you make a wiser choice, Setareh. Not what you were expecting?
JESS - Why are you doing this?
YLLI - Because, one day, Setareh, you’ll be strong. But not now. We’re the only ones left. And if you won’t join me, then you’re against me. Just say yes and we can be together. Forever.
ENDING 1 - FINALE – Game Over:
YLLI - I thought you would be stronger, Setareh, but you’re weak. You would be of no use to me.
ENDING 2 - FINALE – You Survive:
JESS – Let me go!
YLLI – So you HAVE learned to use your gift. OUR gift. We should be allies, Setareh, not enemies.
JESS - Give me control over your power, then.
YLLI - Oh, I don’t think I could do that. I have trust issues. It’s a shame, but if you choose to oppose me, so be it!
