Games on Windows 7

I recently purchased a new computer with Vista Home Premium operating system. It came with a free upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium once it was released. I am interested in hearing of any experiences of Windows 7 users with games. The only thing I have seen so far from a win 7 user was that he couldn't play Princess Isabella with full screen. I have to make a decision soon about  installing it.

I am in the same situation.  I installed Win 7 - it was a nightmare due to the very poor instructions that came with the disc and thus had to do a "clean" install and lost everything on my new computer - 3 calls to customer support etc - but anyhow after a week it was up and working.  I tried to download a few games from various sites and they crashed - Big Fish has instructions on how to get the games to work under 7 - it has to with your graphics card and you have to change some settings - and lose the "Aero" effect that is one of the few things I liked about 7 - or go in and change how the game runs.

Was it worth it?  God, NO!!!

I have downloaded windows 7 I have no problem playing games with it. The only difference I see is it's not as nice 2 the eyes like vista was and I play pyramids cards from yahoo and I cannot get the cards big like they used 2 be, now on the good side everything is a lot sharper and the interenet boots up alot quicker.

plus I am using the microsoft virus protection that works great with window 7 that does not give false virus alerts. which is free from microsoft.

Hmm I just moved to a Windows 7 PC and no problems playing any games. I've been playing Big Fish games mostly, but they all work fine. The OS itself does take some getting used to though!

Thanks everyone for your input. Missanthro, your comments really scare me. I just had a crash not too long ago and had to completely reinstall Vista. I had backed up my files, but the backup is a total mess. Can't figure out how to get my saved emails back, they are like gobbledy gook. I don't want to have to go through that again. My vista is working so well right now. Guess I'll have to decide one way or the other soon.
