Dear Santa: This year, all I want for a Christmas is a free flash game where you splash monkeys with water balloons. If this item is on your Christmas List, then congratulations! You've been a good boy or girl this year and allow me introduce to to Balloono.
Balloono is the latest flash game from fast-growing, Korean-inspired Web site, iminlikewithyou.com. In Balloono, your goal is to defeat all monkeys (except your own, of course) with water balloons. Use the arrow keys to move around the board and hit the space bar to drop a water balloon. And then, run away as fast as you can and/or hide behind a rock before it explodes. You want to trigger your water balloons to splash other monkeys (which are other players) and open up spaces on the board. Along the way, you can pick up a variety of power ups, such as "extra balloon," "longer splash," and "go faster."
If this sounds familiar to anyone who has played in a PC bang (arcade) in Korea or an arcade in the US in the 80's, it's very similar to Nexon's BnB which was a rip-off of Hudson's Bomberman. But, to a new generation of American kids for whom this is all new or to old timers as myself, Balloono is a very fun and flashy experience. Games are quick, it's hard to stop playing, and it involves monkeys. I do love Web games with monkeys. . .
