If you were given the chance to go wild redecorating your living space, the result would look something like My New Room 2. Choose from hundreds of different furniture and accoutrements, including couches, chairs, shelves, windows, lamps and fun stuff like TVs, musical instruments and video game consoles to deck out your virtual space
Fill the home with pets and roommates, select wallpaper and carpet patterns, and re-upholster the furniture to whatever color you wish. You can even add a jukebox to give your room some background music.
The variety of possible styles is endless: create a homey hunting lodge or a chic urban condo – or heck, make a mini model of your own house. Ok, so My New Room 2 is not really a game at all but more of a sandbox for you to bring out your inner interior decorator, but it's fun nonetheless. What really won us over was the subtle little actions of each object as you place it in the scene – the fireplace actually burns with a real fire, the lamp glows with light, and the pet dog sticks out its tongue.
