The team at Faunasphere, Big Fish Games' browser-based causal MMO, gave Gamezebo an early peak at some brand new Thanksgiving-themed content that's scheduled to roll out next week. Keep reading for a look at the new content, and to read our mini-interview with Faunasphere's Lead Designer Toby Ragaini.
Gamezebo: Thanks for speaking with us, Toby. Tell us more about the content that you'll be rolling out for Thanksgiving.
Toby: We will be rolling out new goals, a new zone, and new decoration items -- all Thanksgiving themed, of course. Also, there are RUMORS that the genetics may be mutating and a new Fauna is on its way. I don't want to go into the details, but I think our players will be pleasantly surprised.
Gamezebo: Will this new content be permanent, or is it only for a limited time around the holiday?
Toby: Holiday content will be live for a limited time only. Thanksgiving content will reside until the end of November and then we'll refresh it with winter holiday content the following month. Each holiday we will provide limited edition items for purchase by our players which will be available for this year only.
Gamezebo: How often do you plan to release new content like this?
Toby: We try to release fresh content every month which usually have permanent residency. Whereas, the holiday content typically has a shorter life span in the game.
Players will be able to purchase these items and other limited edition Thanksgiving content in the Faunasphere store as soon as they become available. The items will be available until the end of the year.
