  • Click on the safe, it says enter the code but all I did was click on the safe and it opened. There will be a card inside, pick it up.
  • Click on the petition that is on the black tray and it will go into the book.
  • Click on the phone that is on the desk then click on the receiver and it will unscrew the receiver. Place another bug on the wires that are in the receiver.
  • Click on the front panel of the robot and it will open, insert the card once it's open. Click on the robot again and it will move closer to the bookcase, a socket will appear on the wall.
  • Click on the socket to expand it and place the screwdriver on the screw. Place a bug in any socket.
  • Grab the last bug and click it onto the robot.

click on the book titled Criminology - top shelf right ...

Posted by: Drewia at January 24, 2008 03:36 PM

    Hey Alisalisa

Once you click on the "criminology" book a section on the same shelf will open up where it was not before, on the left.

Look at the screenshot above, on the top left corner you will see a green arrow, that's where the journal will be. Once you look at where the journal is you will also see an amulet above it, click on that as well.

Once you're done with all the steps above, click on the window twice so you can leave through there.

You do not have to do anything with the open pad, that is only to give you a clue, which refers to the "criminology" book on the the top right side.

    Hi there Alisalisa,

ALL the pieces move, there are many ways to solve this puzzle but I started positioning the smaller pieces first and then the larger pieces last.

The blue piece will have to move out of the way several times before it can reach the finish line.

Here's a website that has some slider puzzles as examples, it is not the same but it will help you understand the mechanics of it all.

Start with the "beginner's level 1" and work your way up.

    http://www.bunnylabs.net/flash/rushhour/rushhour.html

Let me know how it goes.

    Hey Alisalisa,

You're welcome, I can imagine that you have a headache after trying to figure this puzzle
    out :-)

Sometimes, it's good to walk away from a game and look at it from a fresh perspective once you get back to it.

In the meantime let me see if I can come up with a written solution to move the pieces in the slider puzzle. It took me a couple of tries to do it.

About the journal, I'm going to replay the scene and see if it comes out after the slider puzzle is solved.

    I'll update you soon,

    Margie B.

Hi, I have just finished the game but I didn't get all of the photo pieces. I'm missing two. I can't seem to go back and find them and does anything happen if you have all the pieces?

Posted by: Jennifer at January 28, 2008 03:55 PM

    Hi Alisa,

I was trying to figure out a way to explain the slider puzzle step by step but was unable to do so. Short of having a video, which I don't have, I don't know how to explain it another way.

I'm sure if you play with it, it will come to you. I'm positive you can do it.

If somebody else reads this and has a good explanation for you, I hope they write in and help.

Sorry I could not be of more assistance to you. If I can help you with something else, don't hesitate to ask.

    Good Luck, Margie B

    Hi Margie,

I have just finished the game but I didn't get all of the photo pieces. I'm missing two. I can't seem to go back and find them and when I close th game and start it back up it goes back to the police office, the last thing I did. Does anything happen if you have all the pieces?

    Thanks, Jennifer

Posted by: Jennifer at January 29, 2008 12:13 PM

    Hi Jennifer!

To be honest with you I never really understood the purpose of picking up the pieces of paper, because at the end of the game all I saw was the picture completed.

In order for you to find all the pieces you would have to start the game over. There's no way to go back to specific locations, at least none that I saw. Unless you just want to replay the game, I wouldn't bother.

    Take care, Margie B

i own mortimer beckett and azada and dream chronicles and hidden secrets. i noticed that i love these type of games that was why i was happy to find natalie brooks treasure house, now the question that i have is if i buy this game and when you leave game and go back in does it go back to the place you left off. thank you

Posted by: kemmerer at February 3, 2008 07:04 PM

    @Kemmerer

To answer your question, yes it does save the game from the point you left off.

Posted by: Margie B at February 3, 2008 08:58 PM

ok right now i have 19 minutes left of the free trial, when i have gone out of the game and went back in i have had to start the game all over again. will it continue like that after i buy the game. i didn't see any options to go back where i left off. thank you

Posted by: kemmerer at February 4, 2008 12:49 PM

    @ Kemmerer,

I'm not sure how to answer that only because it should have saved it even though you were using the trial version.

I'm inclined to say that the way it is working now is probably going to be the same way when you purchase it.

If somebody else has had a different experience maybe they will post it here before you buy it.

    Rae and Michelle,

It's been a few weeks since I played but I believe you either have to tap on the robot again or exit through the window. Either that or you have to click on the robot and it moves aside and then you can exit through the window. This is the last chapter in game, I don't think much happens after that anyway.

I just downloaded Natalie Brooks: Secret of Treasure House and I am stuck already at the main gate. I've picked up the stick on the ground but now it is pointing to a brick in the wall at the left of the gate and it says - "This is an object with which you can interact. Use it on the brick." I've tried clicking everywhere but nothing happens. I've already used up 7 minutes of my free trial. Can you help ?

Posted by: Sharon at March 19, 2008 08:49 AM

Having the same problem as pattys on march 18..stuck in jewelery store..says all done here but cant move on...

Posted by: Patricia at March 19, 2008 10:25 AM

    Sharon,

When you pick up the stick you're supposed to click on the brick that it's pointing to, above the bushes. Inside the brick there is a key that you will use to open the main gate.

If for some reason the game is not accepting the stick on the brick,go back to the main menu. Click on the top left where it says "Click here to change player" then click on "Create" use a variation of your name and start over.

You're at the very beginning so you're not losing much.

I think there must be a glich in the end scene at the police station. I finished everything, placed all the bugs etc, I did get out of the window the first time. Then there were a few frenzied eavesdropping conversations in Russian, which of course I have no clue what was said, I guess that natalie caught all the conversations of the guilty parties on her bugs...then up came the credits! Huh? I then went back into the game at the police station, did everything again and now I can't get out of the window and am totally stuck there. Go figure...

    Posted by: catzzz999 at March 22, 2008 09:51 AM

Renee, that slider puzzle is really trial and error. I just kept sliding everything around until finally, I could see a way out. Why don't you let someone else have a try for you. Sometimes a fresh pair of eyes can see what we cannot see. 'Just a thought? :o)

I have the code...I can't place the moon, star, heart and sun to open the jewerly box...
Every time you get the sequences correctly, a gem will appear in the corner of the box.

You have to wait until all 4 symbols light up before you can enter your sequences.

Then you can start entering sequences once the top circle lights up.

Enter 5 correct sequences and you will move on to the next level.

I have posted pictures of the solution to the slider in the police chief's office where you move the blue piece out the exit. There are 27 pictures on a Flickr website and they are in reverse order. This is the first time I have used Flickr so I didn't take the time to learn how to reverse them, but if you go to page two of the photos and start with the last photo and work from 1 to 27 you will have a solution. I played this slider under three different player names and it was the same every time. the website is:

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/24911804@N07/

I hope this helps everyone who is having trouble with this puzzle.

Posted by: Pilar at March 22, 2008 07:25 PM

I have posted pictures of the slider solution. If you want to have the pictures in front of you when you do the slider puzzle the easiest way is to paste them into a Word document. Go to the Flickr website: http://www.flickr.com/photos/24911804@N07/
and view the pictures. Scroll on the screen until some of the pictures are centered on the screen and then hit you print screen button just once. Then minimize the screen and open a Word or any word processing document and hit the paste icon and the screen shot should appear. Now go back to the Flickr site and scroll to select another set of pictures and hit the print screen button again and paste that into the Word document. Keep doing that until you have all of the pictures. They are numbered but will be backwards in sequence. So start with 001 and go through 027 and the slider should open. I have never used Flickr before so there may be some other easier way to download the pictures but I know the pasting into Word works and it only takes three sheets of paper to print them.

Posted by: Pilar at March 22, 2008 09:13 PM

Okay, I have just completed the "dreaded" puzzle and here is how my screen looked when it was completed:
Long Brown (up and down) on far top left side
    Space
Small Silver (up and down) in middle of top
    Space
    Small Silver (sideways) top right
BLUE box side of Bottom Right of Long Brown
Underneath Long Brown and Sideways Blue:
    Long (sideways) metal
    Under Long Metal is Space
Under Space is Long Sideways Brown
To right of Sideways Metal and Brown is Long Metal/Brown Box then Space then Small Silver in bottom right corner.

I hope this does not confuse you more but helps someone out!

This is the shortest game of this type that I have played. I tried the trial version for one hour and liked it. I read in the Gamezebo review that the length of the game made up for it being so easy so I thought it would be easy but have a lot of levels. It is easy and very short. I have played through five times this evening to see if I might be missing something. It was a cute story and the game is fun but I am very disappointed that it was so short. And the ending just doesn’t make sense. They really had a good story going and then they just chopped it off. These game developers seem to have the potential to make really good games but this one is sadly incomplete.

It also has some technical problems. Some of the hidden objects don’t pick up when you click on them. There is a big very visible broom in one picture and I clicked on every part of it and it would not remove it from the list. I also got hung up after completing a level and it would not let me go to the next level. I had gotten all of the picture parts and completed all of the tasks and even when I kicked on a hint, it said that we were all done here. I also knew that the level was complete because I was on my forth pass through the game. I finally had to go to the main menu and delete the player and start over. And I didn’t mind doing that because THE GAME IS SO SHORT. Maybe the developers will do more next time. I hope so because it seems that they have real potential.

Posted by: Pilar at March 22, 2008 11:49 PM

I am having the same problem that others have mentioned. The game tends to crash after the second level. I once got to level five. I have updated directx, but it still crashes. I have contacted Big Fish customer service, but with it being a holiday weekend, response time is 72 hours.
My computer meets the requirements for the game, but I get a virtual memory error before the game crashes.

Posted by: Tara at March 23, 2008 04:19 PM

I found that when I got stuck in a room, it was because I had not closed something up. For instance, in the Jewelry Shop it was the cash register and in the cave it was the spy machine

Posted by: Marilyn at March 23, 2008 05:12 PM

This was the best game. It seemed short but I really enjoyed it. Thanks for your walkthrough, it helped a lot.

Posted by: Barbara at March 23, 2008 08:23 PM

for the people who posted the pictures for the solutions and everybody else who helped. Thanks a million. Seriously I just got out of the hospital and was looking for something like this game to play and until I got stuck it was fun. I truly hate it when games throw something like that difficult slider on a casual game like this. I am very good at them so I knew this was very hard and had no place in this game. Shame on them. SO thanks for all of the help.

Posted by: lisa at March 23, 2008 10:05 PM

I finished the game!! Woo hoo. Got the slider done after about the 50th try! *smile* I was a lil sad that it was so short...but hey, it was still fun. I just wished they would've kept it going...there could've been a lot more to it in my opinion.
    Thanks for the help everyone!

Am I the only one that feels this game ended way too early? It starts to give you this background story about a missing king and all the pieces that need to be returned. You get a partial picture of the kingdom, full if you're lucky and the medallion but what of the other pieces mentioned in the article in the chief's office? I think it was a lot of build up for nothing and was a little confused and let down when the credits just popped up out of no where.

Posted by: Lea at March 25, 2008 02:55 PM

No you are no that only one wo feels the game ended way too early If I was not stuck on that stupid slider puzzle for a while I would of een finished with in a few hours. I have actually gotten my money back because IMO some games ended too early I got my money back for Mortimer Beckett for that that reason. I feel it takes more then a game to be interesting to make it worth the money A game particularly like this type should have length too. Like those Nancy Drew games. Or at least charge the consumer less money. I could not believe after she sets the bugs up in the office and made a phone call the game was over I was in shock.

I am stuck in the Jewelry store! I did everything that I was supposed to do, and when I click on a hit Natalie says, "All done here." Yet I have not moved on to the Police station!

I can't believe how short this game was. The end did not make sense. if you play it again is it the same game or different clues?

Posted by: sheila at March 25, 2008 07:04 PM

Re Jewelry Store. You say you are clicking on window. Have you picked up the piece of paper in the jewelry case and placed it on the window?

Posted by: Marilyn at March 25, 2008 08:02 PM

To Layla (3-25) and others who complete a level and the game does not advance.
I played this game all the way through five times the first day I got it. It is very short and it does have some technical problems. When you complete a level and the hint says that you are all done here the only thing you can do is start the game over as another player. It did that to me on my four time through the game. I was in the cave and had completed all the tasks and closed the spy machine and gotten the box of bugs from the shelf. And the level would not close. The hint said all done here. So I exited the game and closed it. Then I started the game again as the same player and it took me to the next level but my box of bugs that I am supposed to plant in the chief’s office was not with me. I know that I completed the level because I had already done it three times earlier in the day. Another problem is that some of the hidden objects do not clear when you click on them. Luckily the game is so easy that you may not need to get any extra hints. People seem to be really hungry for this type of game. I don’t understand why Big Fish wouldn’t make them fix the problems before they would agree to sell it. Well, I do understand but it is a shame anyway. It is also a shame that the developers would let a game go to market with this many problems. And it is way too short. I was misled by the Gamezebo review that said it was easy but a long game. I agree with Lea, the ending was just chopped off. It is almost like the developers of the game were thinking that they would only have to hook us for the first hour because that is how long the trial version runs. Then they threw in a difficult slider so people would think that had played the game longer. The most fun I had was taking 27 step by step pictures of the slider solution and posting them on a Flickr website. Over all I enjoyed playing the game but it is too short.

i am stuck in museum the colored dot where is the wit sector i know the red and blue where is white

Posted by: rose at March 26, 2008 08:55 AM

I don't know about the others but I was able to hit the dots anywhere as long as they did not hit the center. You have to actually click on each dot and if you miss one then a second is added on to the clock. The object is to hit enough dots to get down to zero and finish the game. As I said, I was hitting blue dots in red field with no problem and I did not have a "white" field.
    Hope this helps!

I was so disappointed in the end of the game. Nothing happened with the picture or the subplot with the king. I thought I had done it wrong, so I went back and made sure I picked up all the pieces of the picture, but I never got a full picture, there was always a piece missing.

What the heck was the whole subplot and picking up those pieces of the picture about, anyway?

Re the green lights in the cave. You need to slow the sling shot down. If you just pull back with the mouse & let go, the ball will go sailing over the board. I angled the catapult forward & let go slowly. If it's too slow, the ball falls short of the board so you have to practise!
    Good luck!

The roller you need in the museum storage room to put in the stone wall slit is in the standing sarcophagus out in the museum. You can go back an forth between the museum and the storage room. When you get 13 gears or details and both halves of the scheme you can reassemble the sarcophagus that is lying on the floor.

Posted by: Pilar at March 31, 2008 05:28 PM

The animals can be placed on the mirror in any order but once they are all placed you have to click on them in a certain order. Cheeta, lion, rhino, bear, eagle, elephant, giraffe, mouse. The dialogue from Natalie will tell you when to click on them. Then the mirror will open half way. You have to take the police stick and open it the rest of the way. The flashlight will follow you to the next room.

What if you go back into the game and it places you in a room where everything is all done, but you still cant get out of the room, any tips?

Posted by: ann at April 5, 2008 04:31 PM

When you place all the bugs in the police station the game is over. This game is really short and it has a terrible ending. It’s just chopped off. It does not have an option to resume or start a new game for the same player. To play again you have to create a new player.

I played this game all the way through five times the first day I got it. It does have some technical problems. When you complete a level and the hint says that you are all done here and it won't advance, the only thing you can do is start the game over as another player. It did that to me on my four time through the game.

Big Fish says that they are trying to get the developers to fix all of the problems but that it may be 4 to 6 weeks if they are fixed. Then you have to download it again. They are not going to notify the prople who purchased the game unless they have requested to be sent an email when the problems are fixed.

Posted by: Judy Felder at April 5, 2008 10:39 PM

This game is a rip off. The developers had a great thing going but cut it short for some reason. I am very disappointed that Big Fish allowed the release of this game and charges the same fee for this piece-of-game that they charge for completed games like the Mystery Case Files games. About the time you think you're reaching the climax of the game, it ends..no explanation, just credits. Completed the whole game in less that two hours. Was fun, but could have seen a good movie (which is too expensive too..lol) for same price.

    Posted by: n4k at April 5, 2008 11:05 PM

In the jewelery store click on the cash register to get the enlarged detail of it. Put the two parts inside it and put on the key pad. Don't close down this detailed view. In this detailed view on the cash register there is a window. Hold the paper up to it and it will give you a code to enter on the cash register key pad.

    Hello to all!

I am trully stuck at the museum's storage room, in the puzzle with the camel.

I am sure I put all the slides correct (I notice it by the horizontal line of the ground) but, still, the door doesn't open to move on!

Does anyone have any solution on that?

    Thanks a lot!

Posted by: iro at April 7, 2008 07:06 PM

When you are doing the circle puzzle of the camel and rider, focus on the camel and rider and get all their parts lined up, especially the head and mouth on the camel.

Posted by: Pilar at April 7, 2008 10:20 PM

There are four large white keys (they really don't look like keys)in the basement. After you pick up the key you can't tell where it came from because they all look alike. Check all four places and make sure you haven't missed one of the other keys. Look at the walkthrough picture. The keys come from 1) the large chest on the floor that looks kind of like a built in storage unit at the bottom of the shelves on the left, 2) the wine barrel, 3) under the large grate and 4) under the floor tiles.

There isn't a way to start a level over that I know of. And when you finish the game the only way you can play again is to create a new player name.

Posted by: Yetses at April 10, 2008 09:42 PM

Even though you only pick up four stones, you get an unlimited supply of stones to throw at the window. So you can practice with different angles and power until you get the right mix. Four stones have to hit the window to break it all the way and end the task.

I was enjoying this game until I got to the security alarm puzzle in the museum. For me and tens of thousands of others in the country with essential tremor, it's absolutely impossible to click on moving objects fast enough to finish a puzzle like this, so I've quit. An enjoyable game turns into an exercise in frustration and we certainly don't get our money's worth. It would be considerate of the developer to allow users to skip/autosolve little puzzles like this, even if there were only a limited number of skips or time/point penalties for skipping. (And apparently there are a lot of you who would appreciate being able to skip the slider puzzle!)

Posted by: MikeR at April 11, 2008 03:50 PM

How can I open the safe in the police room? I placed all the detail pieces on it and it still does not work. Hints are no help either.

Posted by: Yetses at April 11, 2008 04:37 PM

    To Mike R,

I totally agree that every puzzle game like this should allow you to skip at least one or two of the puzzles in a game. Even if you lose points or have some other penalty, at least more people could enjoy the game. Everyone has different talents and abilities and game developers should want to make their games appeal to more people.

I don’t know where you purchased your game but I know that Big Fish is very good about giving a coupon to get another game if there is a problem with a game you get from them. It really doesn’t matter what the problem is, they usually are great about giving a coupon. I would imagine other game sellers have a similar policy.

Posted by: Pilar at April 11, 2008 08:26 PM

    Pilar -

Thanks for the supportive comments. I don't want to get OT here, but games like these can be very therapeutic and rewarding for people with a variety of conditions and handicaps. Hitting a static pixel in a game like Dream Chronicles 2 - The Eternal Maze can be difficult but rewarding when you find it and can steady the mouse on it. There's a big difference between "I can't find it" and "I'm not physically capable of doing it."

I know to stay away from the genre of games that require quick mouse actions, but when such a genre has been added to a basic hidden object game, there needs to be an "out".

I took your suggestion and emailed BFG. It's not that I really need a refund or coupon - I'm not going to the poor house next week if they do nothing, which is unlikely - but I think they need to add certain standards to the games they accept for release. (I've only dealt with BFG and very happily, so I can't discuss any others' reputations.) I'm not unrealistic enough to think every game should be adapted, but when you're out to play a hidden object game, then the extra mini-games, while usually a bonus feature, need to have outs or be consistent with the game play of the primary technique of the main game.

And for anyone interested in understanding what essential tremor is all about (and that little light bulb going off saying "so that's what Aunt Edna's problem was!"), please check out www.tremoraction.org.

Thanks for your time. And for those who don't really care, I'm over my rant; no need to respond. Thanks.
    Mike

Posted by: Mike R at April 11, 2008 10:09 PM

    Mike,
Thanks for the link on essential tremors. My mom has those; has for years and I never knew exactly what it was. My husband has it with fine motor skills, but can paint a perfect pinstripe on a model car (I know, strange).

Not taken as a rant, you're 100% correct in your complaint. I had a hard time with that part and I have no OT issues...that I know of..LOL

Big Fish is great and I fully expect you will receive a credit (I did when I emailed them about the poor development of this game).

    Posted by: n4k at April 12, 2008 01:13 AM

To open the safe when you are in the police chief's office the first time - Click on the hole in the mini golf course on the right side of the floor twice and a paper with code will go into your inventory.

When you first click on the safe the lock mechanics will fall apart. You have to pick them up and put them in your inventory. Then reassemble them on the safe. Put on the round flat piece, then the knob, then the safe piece that was on the ground, under the desk. Then take the paper with the code that you got out of the mini golf game and click it on the safe lock and it will open.

I'm in the basement and having the same problem as some of the others have had. When I opened the box on the shelf and got that barrel key, the box shut and now it won't open again to place the symbol in it to make the game go on to the next puzzle. They should make it where you can go back and restart a room. I don't intend to restart the game from the beginning......it's just not worth it. I'll read the comments before I purchase the games.

I think I figured out the last ray in the basement. The lid had gone closed on the chest after getting the key out, no way no how did the lid come back open and the hint said I was done with the room. Finally, I shut down the game, opened it back up which put me back in the basement(did not start over as new profile). I took the last symbol and slowly moved it around the top part of the left end of the chest and the ray popped on so I could open the wine barrel.

Posted by: Daniele at April 25, 2008 11:11 AM

    HI ZUZA,

Here's what you need to do for that section. It has to be done in that order or it will not work. It's very important that you give the petition first and then the pen to Mr. Edison or he will not accept it.

If what I've stated below does not work for you for some reason, you most likely have a glitch in the game. If you have a glitch you will need to start the game over under a new name by going back to the main menu and creating a new player.

If you need help beyond this write me back and we'll see what we can do to help you. In the meantime, here's the location of the pen.

The pen is in the top right cabinet, click on it and once it expands, grab the pen that is inside.

Click on the cabinet that is on the top left side. Once it expands, click on the petition with the red seal. (only if you don't have it already)

Place the "Rock" CD into the CD player and Mr. Edison will wake up.

Give him the petition first and then the pen.

    Best of luck to you.

Posted by: KellySH at April 26, 2008 01:55 PM

One battery is in the pocket of the coat that is hanging on the robot.

One battery is in what looks like an old style tape recorder on the wooden desk on the right side of the screen.

One battery is on the top shelf of the glass front cabinet on the left side of the screen.

Posted by: Pilar at April 26, 2008 02:24 PM

Christyna, Did you take the box of bugs and put them inside the spy machine? If you still have a box of bugs in your inventory at the bottom of the screen, then go over and open the spy machine and put the box inside it. Hopefully that will let you go to the next level. There are some technical problems with this game and one of them is in Smuggler's Cove.

Posted by: Pilar at April 26, 2008 02:31 PM

Kelly, There is a picture on the wall behind the banker's desk. Behind that picture there is a safe. Are you using the screw driver on the screws in the safe?

Okay, I read through these and made sure no one else was having the same problem... or that is was answered already. I don't think it is but here goes...
My free trail ended when I was waiting for the gate with the police tape to load. So i downloaded another free trial. When I rebooted the game, I was in the museum. I click the hint button after trying to figure out how to leave and all it says is "done here". So i go to the map and click on the gate knowing that's going to be the next one, and.... the map dissappers and I'm in the museum again. Here's the question

Sara, This game has many technical programming problems. I got my game from Big Fish and their customer service said that they are trying to get the developer to fix the problems. On March 26th, they said they would put me on the list to email when the problems are fixed so I can download it again. I still haven’t heard back from them. But they did say it might take one or two months to get the game developers to fix all the problems, if they fix them at all.

From my experience with this game, if it does not automatically advance you to the next level and your current level says “all done here”, then you have to start the game over as another player.

    Kelly,
When the screw driver is in your inventory it is bluish green and it has a small 2 under the picture of the screwdriver. When you click on it a small picture of the screwdriver follows your cursor. Place the point of your cursor, not the screwdriver, over the screw. When the word BOLT appears click your mouse and the screw should disappear. Then you would do the same with the remaining screwdriver that is in your inventory.

If that does not work then the only thing I know to do is start the game over with another player name. If you continue to have the same problem then you should contact customer service where you purchased your game.

Angela, There are two pieces of paper that are the scheme of the workings of the lock. That complete scheme must be put in the sarcophagus lying on the floor along with the 13 detail parts.

Hi, i'm in the basement and it says that there should be a symbol on the second shelf of the left bookcase but its not there, the box isn't open but i have the barrel key. I can't continue until i have done this but i can't find the last symbol. Please Help!
    Chelsie.

Posted by: Chelsie at April 27, 2008 07:21 PM

    Hi Chelsie!

Many people have had the same problem as you. The box on the left side of the screen should open automatically. If you don't see it open then you have a glitch in the game. Look at the screenshot for that level and you'll see the box open.

You are going to have to start the game over under a different name in order to advance in the game. This game has been out for months and they still have not worked out these kinks that many people have had.

    Best of Luck to you.

Chelsie, After you work the wooden puzzle that is green, orange and gold/tan you will have 4 symbols in your inventory. Two of them go on the shelf on the left side of the room. You have to more the beige curtain back on the top shelf to see the one on that shelf. The other one is in the top of the pinkish color box on the middle shelf. You can see the picture of where they are in the walkthrough above.

I have been through the cove and gone back to the police station and planted all the bugs. How do I get out of here? When I click on a hint it says all done here, and when I click on the window nothing happens. I have also played the hidden object games and am all filled up with clues. This is the second time I played the game and don't remember how to get out of the police station the second time. Can anyone help?
    Thanks,
    Margaret

Posted by: Margaret at April 27, 2008 10:18 PM

Margaret, Did you remember to click on your petition that is in the black letter tray on the Police Chief's desk? When everything is complete in this scene it should automatically take you out. You don't have to do anything to exit the scene except plant the 5 bugs and get your petition. Sometimes this game just locks up for no reason. You may have just hit one of those snags.

I am stuck in the cellar! I have only three keys and the barrel key. One of the boxes is no longer open and I can not open it to get the last symbol key. HELP!!!

Posted by: Janis at April 30, 2008 10:59 AM

Janis, The 4 white keys come from 1) the large chest on the floor that looks kind of like a built in storage unit at the bottom of the shelves on the left, 2) the wine barrel, 3) under the large grate and 4) under the floor tiles.

If you now have 3 white keys and the barrel key, then it seems like you haven't used the barrel key to open the barrel. The 4th key is in the barrel.

Help, I too am stuck in the lawyer's office...I have already signed the petition but it won't let me out. Have done all of the previous steps....The game won't let me retrieve the pen again...HELP!!!

Posted by: Kim at April 30, 2008 04:51 PM

Yes, but I can not get the light I need to put the barrel key in the barrel. The box will not reopen. Any suggetsions

Posted by: Janis at April 30, 2008 05:50 PM

What barrel is the barrel key for?

Posted by: Janis at April 30, 2008 05:56 PM

    Janis,
The bottom barrel on the right side. Click on it and you should get a close up of the key hole. Use the barrel key and the picture will go back out to full view but you can see the white key on the edge of the barrel. Click on it and it will go into your inventory.

Posted by: Pilar at April 30, 2008 07:08 PM

Kim, After you give the petition to the lawyer, you give him the pen, then he tells you to get out of his office. You then click on the screen once and you should automatically exit the scene. Click on a hint and if it says you are all done here then you have hit a glitch in the game. This game has many technical programming problems. If that happens you have to start the game over as another player.

Hi; this is a really great walk-through, but I'm stuck at the puzzle in the Police Chief's office. I know you have a screenshot of the end result, but I don't know how you got them there in the first place! Someone HELP!

Posted by: Kelsey Lynne at May 1, 2008 01:31 AM

Nevermind; I finally figured it out!

Posted by: Kelsey Lynne at May 1, 2008 01:38 AM

Bea, The location of the nails and boards are shown in the walkthrough photo. The hammer is behind the gate of bars where the red lights were. Have you opened that barred gate by turning the red lights green? If not the steps are in the walkthrough. Best of luck.

Need help with the flying red blue and white dots in the museum security code puzzle. Any hints on strategy... ? is the center considered the white area..I do not understand as the white dots disappear as soon as they touch the center so it's impossible to zap them. Also when I start the puzzle the counter is at 00:00, goes up to 2:59 and then just switches between 2:59 and 2:58. With the blue dots it seems that you have to be waiting in a blue area to zap them.........HELP PLEASE...

Posted by: Mags Kendall at May 5, 2008 02:05 PM

    Mags,
The instructions in the game for the museum security code puzzle are not very clear. There is not a white section. There are only blue and red sections. The dots of light must be stopped before they reach the center. The clock starts with time on it and you must make the clock reach zero to win the mini-game.

You can click on the white dots anywhere before they get to the center and time will go off the clock. You get more white dots than blue or red so just click away on the white dots while they are in either the blue or red sections.

You should click on the blue dots in the blue section and the red dots in the red section to take time off the clock. If you click on a blue dot in the red section time will be added to the clock and if you click on a red dot in the blue section time will be added to the clock. If any dots make it to the center time will be added to the clock.

I have found that there are so many white dots that clicking on them usually makes up for missing the blue and red ones. Good luck!

I have finished this game earlier this week and it was a Hoot! Although the ending was weird!! I thought that it should have gone on longer and the finish was not very good. I thought that I would find the other missing pieces of that Kingdom...I mean why would they bother to mention it?

So I went back a second time to get all of the pieces of the photograph...and I could not find them all...even with the walkthough from this page....I then read that it didn't matter because a new level did not open up when all of the pieces of the picture were found. What was that all about?

For those who got stuck in the basement trying in vain to put that fourth symbol in the "open box on the second shelf".....Here is the Clue: You have to do the jigsaw puzzle FIRST!! before you click on anything....you will then get the symbols and be able to put them where they belong...other wise you will get the message "I am all done here" from Natalie.

I enjoyed this game. Ended too quickly and the finish did not make sense....maybe the developers are hoping to do a sequel?

Posted by: Shalar at May 7, 2008 10:00 AM

but what if the puzzle is already done?????

Posted by: jolene at May 7, 2008 10:35 AM

Then you have to start the game over again. =\ That is what I had to do, twice I think, before I realized that when I took the barrel key from that "open box" that it closed any further action there....

Posted by: Shalar at May 7, 2008 11:13 AM

restart the game?? that's what i'm trying to do but how to?

Posted by: jolene at May 8, 2008 02:17 AM

You must go back and create a new player.

Posted by: Shalar at May 8, 2008 09:38 AM

    ok thanks alot! :)

Posted by: jolene at May 8, 2008 10:37 AM

I downloaded the free trial of this game and thought it was pretty good - then I bought it and played it to the end. It is a waste of money - the ending is weird and the story doesn't really hang together. I'm glad I didn't pay full price - I would be asking for my money back if I had!!! If there is a sequel I wont be buying it.

Posted by: Joan Campbell at May 9, 2008 05:47 AM

I paid full price for mine and was disappointed with the length and the ending of this game...I have become spoiled by Midnight Synergy, who makes The Wonderland games...now there is a game and a half or more...they are wonderful, complicated, intriquing, and intelligent with little animated characters....might I suggest going there and really get involved in one the VERY BEST GAMES around, hands down. You will be playing for weeks if not months...and it is worth it for the Team at Midnight Synergy are Genius.

I am now playing Dream Chronicles II and, of course, I am coming to Gamezebo where some kind soul has posted the walkthrough....

Would I buy another segment...and you know they are coming...of Natalie...depends.

Posted by: Shalar at May 9, 2008 09:49 AM

the ending was so abrupt! lol.

Posted by: jolene at May 9, 2008 12:52 PM

I'm having problems at the police station. I think I've done everything. (I got the card and batteries, which I gave to the robot. I took the keys and opened the desk drawer and gave the pen to the lady.

Now, I'm only left with 5 coins. When I try to place the coin any where within the area of the vending machine, even in the coin slot, I keep getting the messages "Wrong Move" or "Doesn't work there."

I used a hint, which directed me to the vending machine.

    Did I do something wrong?

Posted by: Toody at May 11, 2008 04:51 PM

    Toody,

Try to get the detailed enlarged view of the donut machine and put the cursor point on the coin slot. If you try to put the coins on the slot the cursor is pointing somewhere else and it will say that it is a wrong move. I hope that works!

Posted by: Pilar at May 11, 2008 07:30 PM

I am LOST. I am in the Jewelry store. I can't do a thing! When I click a hint it says "Everything is done here" but why can't I move on in the game?"! Help me. I clicked on the magnifying glass once and did all the things there. But now NOTHING! What do I do now?

Posted by: Nancy Farkas at May 12, 2008 12:57 AM

You start over. You do this by creating a new player. Simply change your name. And Good Luck!

Posted by: Shalar at May 12, 2008 09:54 AM

Before you can put the needed 5 coins in the doughnut machine slot...you need to pick up the card down in the dispenser area of that machine.

    Hope that helps.
