Aveyond Quick Start Walkthrough

Who says casual gamers will not play a casual game? Not me, after playing Aveyond. Here's an excellent Quick Start Walkthrough of Aveyond directly from the game.

Aveyond Quick Start Walkthrough

1. Open Aveyond.

2. If you want to play the game in full-screen mode, press ALT+ENTER on your keyboard.

3. From the Title screen, select New Game.

4. After the introduction is over, you start the game in a village called Clearwater. Go to your house. Your house is to the left of the first bridge.

5. In your house, go upstairs and talk to your dad (go up to him and press SPACEBAR on your keyboard). He asks you to bring back the village healer.

6. Leave your house and go east (across the first bridge). Then go north (up the stairs). Then go west (across the second bridge). Travel west until you reach the cliff, then go north until you see a cottage. This is the healer's house. Go into the house and talk to the healer. She joins your party.

7. Go back to your dad. When you go upstairs, the healer will leave your party and talk to your dad. Your dad will ask you to talk to your mother.

8. Go talk to your mother. She asks you to bring her five marionbells.

9. Leave your house and go south to the meadow. You will see some kids picking flowers. Pick four marionbells here.

10. Go back towards the village and go into the cave. In the cave, go north. The cave will take you to another meadow where the last marionbell is. Pick the fifth marionbell here.

11. Go back home and give your mother the marionbells. She asks you to go to bed.

12. Go upstairs and to bed on the left. Walk into the your bed. This makes you sleep.

13. Go downstairs and talk to the priestess who is standing by the fireplace. Keep talking to her until she gives you a priestess ring.

14.Leave your house and go south to the cave. Talk to the boy at the cave entrance and then follow him into the cave.

15. Talk to the strange man in the cave. He captures you and takes you to a village in the east called Ghalarah. He sells you as a slave.

16. When you wake up in your room, read the note on your desk. This list contains the chores you have to do for the day.

17. Leave your house and go south into the village. Find the seamstress shop and talk to the seamstress. She will give you Lar's traveling clothes.

18. Take the traveling clothes back to your house and give them to Mistress Rona.

19. Your next chore is to kill the spiders in Mistress Rona's attic. Before you go up there, save your game. To do this:

- Press ESC on your keyboard. This opens the main menu.
- From the main menu, select Save Game.
- Select a save slot for your game and press ENTER on your keyboard.

20. After you have saved your game, go up to the attic and fight the spiders. Before you leave the attic, search each spider that you killed for goodies.

21. Go downstairs and talk to Mistress Rona. She asks you to find her son Lars.

22. Leave the house and go south into the meadow. Lars and two friends are there.

23. Talk to Lars then go back to your house and talk to Mistress Rona.

24. Go to bed.

25. In the morning, talk to Mistress Rona. Once again, she asks you to find Lars.

26. Leave the house and go south into the village. Lars is in the village tormenting a young boy. Talk to Lars.

27. You receive a token from an emissary who sees you and Lars. You must go to the city Veldarah.

28. Save your game and leave the village.

29. In the wilderness, avoid the snakes at all cost. Only fight the spiders when you have to. Go to the city Veldarah. The city is Northeast. If you get lost, look for a sign to tell you where you are.

30. In Veldarah, go Northwest to Shadwood Academy.

31. Go into Shadwood Academy and talk to the headmaster, Harald. He will give you a key to your room.

32. Go find your room in the academy and unlock the door.

33. Open the treasure chest in your room. You will get your school uniform.

34. Put on your school uniform. To do this:

-Press ESC.
-Select Items.
-Select your school uniform from the list and press ENTER.

35. Go to bed.

36. Go into the student courtyard and talk to Lorad. You must fight him to become a journeyman sword singer. Before you fight him, go out into the jungle and fight some spiders and snakes for experience. Also, make sure to save your game before you fight him.

37. After you fight Lorad, leave Shadwood Academy and go south into the city of Veldarah.

38. Near the entrance of the city, go into the junk dealer's shop (look for a shop with a sign that has a key on it).

39. Go up to the ring in his shop and press ENTER. The junk dealer will ask you if you want to buy the ring.

40. Buy the ring and leave the junk dealer's shop. The priestess will appear when you are leaving the shop. She tells you to meet her at the Empress's palace.

41. In Veldarah, go northeast to the palace. In the palace, talk to the Empress. She will give you an important quest: Find seven druids and take them to a place called Aveyond.

42. Leave the palace and go to Shadwood Academy. Find Lars and talk to him. He will join your party.

43. Go to the entrance of Veldarah. You will see the priestess. Talk with her. She joins the party.

44. Leave Veldarah and go west. In the jungle, go northwest until you reach the overworld. If you get lost, look for signs to read.

45. In the overworld, go north and have the boatman take you to the Northern isle.

46. In the Northern Isle, go northeast until you see a cave (not the cave with the minor in it). The cave takes you to Aveyond.

47. In Aveyond, go east. After you pass Teacup town, go north to the temple.

48. Talk to the oracle in the temple.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

At this point, the main quest for the game begins. You must search the isles for the druids and bring them to the temple in Aveyond. When you have done this, you will receive a relic of great power that can defeat Ahriman, the villain in the game.

I suggest that you go back to the Eastern Empire, head south through the Wildwood Forest, and then east to Lands End. In Lands End, there is a temple with the easiest druid to find. Go into the temple basement and fight the demon for the druid's soul. Then, take the druid to Aveyond.

If you can't remember which druids you need to save, you can check your journal to refresh your memory. To check your journal:

- Press ESC.
- Select Journal.

how do you get to sedona because i am stuck. it says i need a skudder, but i don't know where it is or know what a skudder is.

I am totally stuck at fighting Lorad even after fighting snakes and spiders !

When you go to fight Lorad be sure that you buy armor and a pratice sword first at the town armorer... that makes it much easier...

I killed all the vampires in the halloween hills/Ghe'rad area now I'm beneath the cathedral and don't know the name of the guy who founded it so I'm stuck without the answer to the riddle? HELP ME!!

I am currently trying to find glow berries. Not sure where they are. Also I am tring to find something that will slow down the demon I am trying to fight.

The name is Leyrvo.

The old guy with the eye is in the manor where the cult members are and you have to fight them forever to get to him.

The skudder is in Sedona. It's a ship that goes really fast and over deep waters. Use the canoe to travel from the Eastern Isle to the Western Isle where Sedona is located.

The glass eye is in Mystery Manor, which is located in the Lowlands. Then, go back to the Highlands, give it to the old man, and go into the cave and defeat the demon in there. Once you've saved the druid in the Highlands, you will be able to go to Sedona through the trade route tunnel. To slow down time so you can fight the demon, you'll need to get a magical clock. To get the clock:
1. Go to the Dreamland and find the Glowberry bush. Pluck a Glowberry from it.
2. Go to Thais and find a man with a torch. Trade the Glowberry for the torch.
3. Go to Mt. Orion and search the Ogre's bookshelf. You will find beanstalk seeds.
4. Go to the Enchanted Garden and plant the seeds, leave the garden, and come back. You will see a beanstalk.
5. I'll let you figure out the rest. ;)

Okay, I have tripped all of the triggers in the underground maze under the cathedral, but I cannot get the last two gates on the far east end to open! Argh! Is there are special order this must be done in?

lkswafford, you find the boat over by the wildwoods enterance. Its on the south east side of the east island.

Clara, to get Elini in your party, you and Lars must become Sword Singer and Sorcereor. To do this you must complete a specific task and Harald will raise you rank.

The druids are scattered all over the isles. The first one is at Lands End. Look for a temple there. (Lands End is past the Wildwoods)

You can marry your characters in Thais. You will need to find a dragon and fly it to Thais.

The best place to get stronger at the beginning is in the Northland and Aveyond. You won't be able to get Elini until Rhen and Lars have graduated school (finish the Hind quest)

The boat dealer's wife-to-be is in Halloween Hills. You can go back home to Clearwater after you buy your canoe from the boat dealer.

You'll need to prove to the Mountain King that fairies exist. You'll need to catch one for him. (hint: get a bottle in Sedona)

Go to Aveyond and buy a smoke bomb from a bini. Then go find the beehive in Aveyond and use the smoke bomb on it. You can then collect bees wax.

The woman is a harpy. Go talk to the bini's you'll find that she has stolen something from them. If the creatures are to hard, fight some easier ones for a bit to gain strength, or buy some better armor.

To get into Halloween Hills, you need a skull key. You can get the skull key when you save the druid in the Lands End temple.

U have to save the druid in Lands End then u can go to halloween town.
u will have to go to Mt. Orion to fight with the demon there n get the druid soul.
The key to the snow queen castle will have it after u solve the conflicting btw the king n queen.

the shovel is located in halloween town in one of the house. But in order to get it, u will have to solve the sidequest that the witch is giving it to u.

Hello Everyone!!

I have been all through the demon caves and can not find the daeva to kill to get the druid's soul back in the temple. (Eithera, Druid of Strength) I found the locked door in the temple, but I believe that is where Ahriman is in the end.

I did go and read a "walk-thru" on this part, but it is very vague. If someone can point me in the right direction to the daeva, I would really appreciate it!!

How do I get to mystery manor? I have been there twice before, but now I can't find it. It is in the sandstone caves isn't it?

I'm having bird seed issues. When I try to take it a message appears stating only that I see it. I sent the farmers to the squirrels. I have talked to the Queen. I have tried to talk to the bird without any success. I have already returned the king to the elves. Is it somehow too late to get the bird seed?

Also, I keep going to sedona to get the bottle, but the junk dealer says he ran out of junk. is there something i need to do first? I've already talked to the ice queen and king, and tried to capture the faerie, I just need a bottle.Thanks for any help!!

You can steal the sleeping dust from the squirrels after you talk to them. (Is this why I can't take the bird seed?)

Thanks, now i have the sleeping dust. I still cannot get the bottle, and I cant get to the last druid I need to save until I get a faerie to show the king. The junk dealer in sedona still says he's all out of junk. Can someone please help me figure out what i am doing wrong?

before you can take the bird seed you have to try to capture the nightengale using the bird cage from the junk shop in valderah, then it will say you need bird seed, then when you return to the squirrels it will let you take it.

U have to get the pomegrate seed in Lands End. the Enchanted Garden is over there too. Lands End is located near the wildwoods forest.

U have to sleep overnight at ur house. then the next morning, u try to go to the cave & see again.

Thais is located at the right hand side of the map. It is in Blasted Land. Thais is a city.
The sun block U can get it from Rashnu, the druid of darkness after u bring him to aveyond. He will let u choose in between sun block n silver coins.
The demon is in Ice Castle. U can open the lock door by using the crystal key that the Ice Queen left behind.

the answer to ur question is the same as what i have provided above. Hope it can help.

the druid of strength is in Lamps Land. The genie which u have save from the lamp. U will have to get the lamp in demon caves n bring it to the Queen. The rest let u continue.

Have u explore the lands in Lands End? collect the treasure then go to Mt.Orion. U wil see an altar there n u will need to place the pomegrate seeds. Plant it in enchanted garden n go to Mt. Orion to fight the demon n get the soul of the druid back.

I'm not sure which lvl should be enough to go n fight in Mt. Orion. It's up to ur own choice.

@Alissa,
1. u can get the battering ram, which is a statue of the King Lionel at the Pirates Market which is located near Veniara island.
2. U will hv to solve the Quest on who kill the King in sedona to get the bottle.

Do u hv the maps on the sandstone caves? when u 1st enter the caves, climb up the stairs. then go to the top n enter the cave. then u will be lead to Lowlands, then enter another cave, this time u will have to go to the very left n come down. then the manor is on ur right. Hope u can understand what i am trying to say. lolz.

for the bottle, u can refer to what i have said to alissa problem.
for the explosives, u will have to give the statue of king lionel to the squirrel.

@ketty,
the dreamers tears is in dreamland where u will have to defeat a demon there to get it.

@hui ting,
the temple is near the teacup town n up the stairs. Keep exploring.

@bloomer,
the key to the mayors house is the skeleton key that u get it after u give the statue of King Lionel to the elves.

u will hv to get the elephant garlic for the 2 vampire children. from there u will get the vampire ashes.
for the elixirs, u can get it from the thieves caves.
it's not a neccessary to buy the manor. but if u buy it, u can buy pets n put it over there.
for the tiny quest, hv u save the dirkon from the plague yet? hv u capture the fairy yet? if u do capture the fairy, then u will be ask to help save Tiny from the frog in Sandstone caves.

to uncruse the city of Ejindro, u will hv to bring king lionel to the elves. u will hv to save the elves community in the bashee caves. then u wil be given the skeleton key which will unlock the mayor house n uncurse it.
after u uncurse, u will found a ghost to haunt the vampire house. but since u say u stake the vampress there.. sorry for u then.
the kettle is outside of Thais. the alchemist is in Veldt.

Hi guys!!I have finished playing this game and i wanna say thanks for the people who helped me^_^.BTW,Here is some tip on how i defeated Ahriman...Have Rhen,Elini,Te'ijal and Dameon (you can have anyone but for me,they are the best).Let Rhen use her Shadow Dance or something that curses Ahriman(it costs 170 mana)to curse Ahriman..WHen ahriman is cursed,hid damage on you will be more little and his stronger offense will damage you for a low Hp,All of your Char.will be alive and you can just use the item that heals all of you char. back to its full life,From this,keep on attackin and healing and u can defeat him...^_^ Hope this helps....

just follow the way to ejindro. then you'll find a boar. Dont kill it let it speak first...

I only have two druids left to save, but am stuck where everyone seems to get stuck... getting the dragon and pirate john, and figuring out what to do with King Lionel's statuette. If I give the statue to the elves, I can uncurse enjindro, but if I give it to the squirrels, I can't. But, I MUST give it to the squirrels, because that is the ONLY way to finish the game ... we have to have the birdseed to get the nightingale into the birdcage to give the queen in Veldt to get the dragon bridle to get the dragon or there is no finishing the other parts of the map and getting to ahriman.

So,.. does this mean that the game is set up so that if, at any point, you make a wrong decision on how to use an item, the game is over?

But, even when I give the statuette to the squirrels for the birdseed, Lars does not trigger the scene to get the nightingale into the birdcage. Trying to use the birdseed as an item doesn't work, nor using the birdcage as an item. This is before and after talking to the queen of Veldt... and I need to point out that the queen's husband is never standing beside her, there is no special lamp in the same room, and all she ever says is "welcome to my kingdom."

I assume I can't free Pirate John until I get the dragon bridle, because he won't join my party, Rhen just keeps calling him scum, or it's equivalent... ;)

No one seems to mention Danny.. is he perhaps frozen by the Hind? Maybe he could be the battering ram... and save him (or not) from the squirrels later? But Rhen doesn't seem to recognize him as any of the frozen men in the Hind's area.

And how do we get to that elf, or boy, walking on an unconnected platform around one of the trees in the elves' town? Winged boots don't do it.

But mostly.. what must I do to get Pirate John, and what must I do to get the queen of Veldt to trigger whatever has to happen to make the birdseed work to get the nightingale, to give her for the dragon bridle.

I have a problem when I enter the ice caverns in the ice queen's lair. Its all because of those ice slimes and by the time i get to aveyond,how can i defeat the bees?

Where do I find the nightingale? I gave the statue to the elves, does that mean that I can't get the sleeping dust, and the dynamite? Where is Danny? Please Help!!

Ok, what i am about to say is or maybe hurtful to all u Aveyond FANS out there, but i personally think that Aveyond is a total and/or complete replica of Final-Fantasy's battle style.
Either the Creator :Amanda Fae is tottaly hopeless in her imagination or she is a complete fool which cant think of a good game unless she copies a few ideas from another game, Amanda Fae, please try to be a bit more orginal! i feel that copying an idea of another creators game is not right! please try to fix this as i am certainly not pleased with this!!!!

Hi, i am playing aveyond (together with my mom, shes 46 and she loves the game, she introduced me to it, i couldnt stop loving it) well, the thing is that we have a few questions, i went trough all this post searching for the answer, cause i didnt want to ask something that was already answered preaviosly, but i did not find it so...here i go:
1.-What did the vampress give u after giving her the ghost? (i killed her before knowing about the quest. ups)so..is this goin to affect the ending or i cannot pass the game without this quest?
2.-The pages for the Arcane Magic Book, i found one page in the woods from Ghalarah to Veldarah when i dug up a hole, then went back to the book guy in Ghalarah and nothing happens, so i guess i most find 7 more pages, but i have no clue where they could be?? where are they? please ^^

Hi Kat, i have the answer to your questions(i already passed that!)the rubby slippers u have to give them to a girl thats locked up there in halloween hills, before u reach gedh'are (or however it spells) there is a road to the right, go up the steps, follow the path and u r goin to see a sort of candy house, outside there are colored rocks or candies i dunno what they are, go in there and give the slippers to the girl, and about the blue chest,u will be able to open them when you get to sedona on the western isle...u r still kinda far from there, so dont worry about them yet....

I'm done with all the side quest and am in Ahriman's lair and I can't even get past the monsters. I'm at level 74 and so is most of my party. I've got all the highest equipment and armor. Am I missing something. I would love to beable to finiish the game. Any help would be great.

Nevermind I got it. The ending was great. I went back and tried all four. The one that is recommended in the walk through is the best. I also found a dragon orb in Ahriman's lair. I didn't see it on any of the notes for the game. It was in the lair but how I got there not real sure. Great game Amanda. My kids are happy I finally beat it cause now they can play. I loved it so much I wouldn't give up the computer for like 2 weeks.

if you already saw the temple in the land ends go to the south part and you will see a chest that has a pomegranate seeds (?). then go to the entrance of the mt. orion and read the inscription. then after that go to the enchanted garden and plant the seed but you need to find something before you can plant it...ü

Okay, so I got the statuette and gave it back to the elves ( you have to go into the root system thing to unfreeze him) and i'm trying to get the birdseed from the squirrels but it just keeps saying "You see birdseed." I have talked to the empresses husband about her sleeping problem and have found the nightingale thing and i have a birdcage but I just can't seem to get the birdseed from the squirrels. well actually you need to go to the wildwoods because you deed would be there, find the EARWAX from Aveyond (look everywhere, hint: you would need a smokebomb in order to get it, buy it from the binis) and you must have a mirror, which you could buy from veldarah; in order for you to defeat the Hind which happend to be your "deed".

do you have the brumwich quest with you? because if you do have you must tell the lady who gave you that quest who stole the corn and then go back to the squirrels hideout and talk to one of the leaders and it will show you where the sleeping dust is. you will need to plant the beanstalk on the enchanted garden (land ends) same as the pomegranate(not sure about the spelling) seed. dont wait for it to grow because there are some quests needed to be done first before it will grow.ü

Okay, bought the game and love it...already thoroughly addicted...but I'm stuck in Halloween Hills...I can't seem to find the roads to get where I need to be, I think. I know I'm supposed to find a chest near three graves, but there is no chest near the graves and no road to go any further to look. Also, how do I get to that candy-looking house? Again, can't find the road to get there...I'm very frustrated. Please help.

to get the ruby slippers you must have the sludgemaster 2000 which you can get from the binis in aveyond, if you finished getting the voice box of one of the binis from harpy you can have the sludgemaster 2000 which you can give the witch to trade for the ruby slippers. for the Brumwich quest you must talk to everyone there and see your journal if some side quests are added to it.ü

i got the magic eye and entered the caves to find the devas whos got druid of agriculture's sole...but it only has dead ends. i think i need explosives to or something. where can i find them? plz help!

I am stuck in the 'Sandstone Cave system'.
The only three places I seem to be able to get to. Is the place where the frog is, the cavern before entering where the frog is, and the little peace of land next to the waterfall in the same place where the frog is. I just can not seem to get by any of those. The frog won't move, but I've read I need to do something else. Other wise, I am stuck, and getting frustrated so my mind is not working. Please help ^^

Hey Taylor to get the cloak u have to save the druid of agricultre take him to aveyond then get the rope climbing book from his treasury read it then when u get to the cliff where u can see it u look for a brown line leading onto the cliff where it is, when u find it walk towards it and go up

hey, I'm stuck at the Mt. Orion part. I can't find the daeva that has the druid's soul. I've been through every cave and I opened every treasure chest. I even got the beanstalk seeds from the ogre's bookshelf but I just can't find the daeva!! Please help. the enchanted garden is in Lands End which is on the eastern isle. the shovel is in Halloween Hills in New Witchwood. ill let u find it from there ;)

you plant the beenstalk seeds in the enchanted garden also. then u must complete a couple things b4 it grows. u cant just walk away like wit the pomegranite seeds.

hi i've gotten pretty far in aveyond but havn't finished it yet =)

i hav answers to some of your questions:

1. to get the ghost you have to uncurse ejindro first. Then after uncursing ejindro you'll notice a ghost that is still in the village, just talk to him and he'll join you, and there you get your ghost =)

2. i still don't know about the kettle sorry but if you find out let me know also =)

3. to uncurse ejindro its pretty long.. well, you first have to go to the king of sedona and then you'l do a mini quest for him, and in this mini quest you'll have to get a statue of an elf then wen you finish the mini quest for the king, you take you skudder (you get the skudder in sedona also but you have to buy it for 10,000) to the small islands near the south then in the right island you can buy some stuff from a man there and after doing the quest for the king of sedona, an item a 'statue' will be available. you buy the item then go to the oldwoods in the lowlands in the western isle, then you place the statue on the throne then the spell on the statue will be broken then the king elf will reward you will this skeleton key then you can use it to unlock the house in ejindro then you can break the spell and get the ghost after =) hehe i told yo its pretty long hehe

to get the 'sludge master 2000' you need to defest the harpy north of teacup town then you return the voice box of the cat in teacup town then the other cat that owns the 'sludge master 2000' will let you hav the 'sludge master 2000' =)

to get the shovel you hav to do a mini quest for gretchen, you have to find somting for her, i think som kind of plant, you'll find it in halloween hill in a treasure chest =) then wen you give it to her she'll let you have her shovel =)

Help. I cannot get the sleeping dust. I've been back and forth from Veldt to Brumwich to the Squirrel cave, the squirrels won't give it to me? Am I missing something?

I am at the southern isle at the moment, been there for a while, got the druid from there and have gone back out to sail to aveyond and my skudder and its gone?!?! what do i do to get it back? is there two docking stations on the southern isle?

Yes, there are 2 docks. One is where you'll find the dragon cave. and the other is at the Southern Eastern area of Southern isle, but it's south and a little west of the northern dock.

You can't get past the toad because there is no other areas in that part of the cave. Explore that are throughly just like the rest of the cave system. There are some pretty good rewards.

You have to unfreeze/rescue the druid in Land's End. She'll give you a skull to open Halloween Hill. It's sounds simple but there is ALOT of things you need to do before you can unfreeze her(like going fighting the monsters in Mt. Orion). Land's End is at the most southern eastern area of the Western Island.

I've played this game so many times and I still love it. GREAT GAME.

I have a question too.

is there a walkthrough for Ahriman's Prophescy on this website? AP is not as good as Aveyond but I've just started it. :)

But i also ran into a few problem and am stuck and need help.

I'm trying to free the druids, been to the Northern Island, Aveyond, the Woods and to the Lands end and nothing is moving further, i keep running into dead ends.

I have Elini in my party and the pomagranate seeds. Went to the Lands End and it says that i CAN'T plant it... :( please help i love the game but in dire need of help

I can't find the ones I need to deafeat to get the druids soal at the vampires church(druid of darkness)and druid of agriculture. I have even followed the walkthru and get the where they are supposed to be, but they are not there. Do I have to do something first to make them appear?

I got this realy big problem with getting in to haloween hills! I can't get in there because i need a skull to open the door. And the skull is in the harmony temple but it's on a pedal in the middle of the water and i can't get it!!!!

I have just finished playing this awesome game of your amanda fae and it made me literary stucked for about 2 weeks on my computer. After my work finished, i cant help but to play ur game. Also i would like to thank Aung Myo Min for a very clever walkthrough. ur effort worths everything. unfreezing all the druids takes a long way my advice for you is to explore every place you go and whenever you see a junk shop buy everything coz you'll be needing them as you go along to your journey and it will save you from coming back again and again from one map to another. you will find more items also that you could use in the future if you keep on exploring.

--> to sanna:
you must unfreeze the druid in lands end before you get the skull. after you see the frozen druid, explore the land and find a chest with pomegrate seed and a bone to feed the dog whose blocking the way to enchanted garden. once u find the bone give it to the dog then plant the seed. these will be your key to mt. orion. one you get to the mt. orion, you will find there the monster that has the soul of the frozen druid, fight him and you can now unfreeze ur first ever and easiest druid to unfreeze. good luck! by the way all these are in lands end.
