I play all my games (including The Sims 3) on a very high end laptop. It was sold as, and I bought it as a gaming computer.
The problem is this game, and only this game, causes my computer to overheat and once it even shut down. Since then I've been playing the game, (which I love) in small doses so the machine doesn't get too hot.
Has anyone else had the same problem? I've never had this happen before.
I had this once a very long time ago and it might be a cooler problem...as you already said the compu is overheated and then it shuts down ( for safety reasons).. So you might ask the company where you bought the LT what might be the max. use for gaming..They also are able to give you an advice for cooling! Which they had to do before you bought the LT..
By the way I had to buy another compu. to play such heavy games with a bigger cooler.. not a LT but a desktop ( do have better coolers than LT)
