Not much to say about this one, really, except that it is a classic HOG offering the usual shopping lists full of the not less usual (and utterly useless) objects like a Milk Can, Fungi, Cherries, a Teddy Bear for your little sister.... with, however, some key items that are to be found and utilized towards simple yet logical tasks. Plus 12 coins whose purpose is still a mystery to me since I only played the demo. One HO scene immediately follows another; and although they're all copiously populated, no item is so deviously concealed that it cannot be located, except a few tiny ones which, obviously, go to great lengths to avoid being spotted. Hard luck, the hints are there; even if they're slow to recharge they do their job without mercy, and as often as you want (useful to do your shopping AFAP). A precious help for me who's a lousy HO hunter. Also classic and simple are the puzzles: Match Pairs (10 cards only), Assemble The Pieces of a Letter, Find 6 Differences. But I had fun with the Gear Puzzle, the Weight Puzzle and, in between, blowing a safe with dynamite to open it (it wasn't a safe safe due to its old age, LOL), and was amused by the way a hole is made in the roof. It is possible, however, that the minigames get more challenging as the games winds up. The storyline didn't strike me as brilliant, the linearity keeps you on a railway track, there is no timer (that suits me). But I found the artwork quite well designed and nicely colored. Now, the music is something; worthy of a core game in the style of Command and Conquer, it is really gripping. Quite a relaxing game to spend a pleasant evening with, that nonetheless might be short since I had a blackout just after....lighting the torch (Coin 6, Scene 2). That was the end of the trial version, as you will no doubt have guessed. Recommended to HO lovers.
