You might take a look at the Walkthrough. Click on the Tips&Tricks tab on top of this page...Choose the letter P of the game and you can scroll through the page.
Cudd230, I don't see any screen shots. I have been through this game twice but don't remember exactly what is on level 5. I can give you a few suggestions. If you have done everything you can do in an area, watch your map in the lower left corner and see if you can see a little piece of another section. You can use your vine at the bottom to jump to that area. Just move your cursor on the map to the area you think might be another section and click there. If it is not another area continue to make matches until your vine is full again and try in a different area.
Sometimes there is more of an area on the map when you see on the map a squared off area. Also, if you are in the part where there is a little strip of water, take the raft and click on that area, just like you did with the pick ax on the rocks. There is also a key sometimes for what looks like a bamboo gate. You will find a lock to fit the key in. If you are in the puzzle that is the dark on where you have to light the torches, sometimes you can move your cursor over the dark areas and you will see what looks like a fire and you can click there and light the torches without actually seeing them.
I'm leaving for the night but if you can give me what the exact problem is that you are having maybe I will have a few more suggestions. I will check this thread in the morning and see how you are doing.
EDIT: I went back and played level 5. Have you used the pick on the rock wall on the right? You should have uncovered the pick under the square sand pieces. The last two tiles you need are in the puzzle after you get through the rock wall. When you get all the tiles it should automatically take you out of that level. I see the vine doesn't come in to play yet so save the suggestions about the vine until later if you need it.
Using the vine to jump isn't unlocked until level 8, so that won't apply on level 5. Check the bottom right of the screen to see how many habitat fragments are on the level (5 maximum, you'll see some of the slots filled in if the level has fewer than 5 habitat fragments). Just keep matching and moving around the level until you find all the habitat fragments.

You probably haven't finished purchasing all of the island upgrades. The last couple upgrades are kinda expensive so you might have to play a few levels to get enough resources.
