The Burtons have just moved into their beautiful new dream home, which, unfortunately for them, happens to be haunted. The family needs your help to clear their house of a group of particularly unfortunate ghosts in the upcoming hidden object game Mishap: An Accidental Haunting.
With the help of the peculiar Milton Hobblepop, a self-described paranormal investigator, you'll enter the domains of the eccentric spectres and search for objects hidden throughout more than 30 rooms in order to assemble custom ghost-catchers.
Along the way you'll unravel mysteries of the ghosts' unfortunate fates. For example, there's Dorothy Britton, a botanist who met her demise after accidently drinking plant venom and who is now continuing her research to find a cure for a rare disease in the Burton's Garden. Or Jack O. Diamond, a former Las Vegas gambler currently haunting the Burton's poker table trying to win that one last game. You'll learn about each ghost's tragic tale through in-game comic panes, then face each spectre in a mini-game showdown.
