Awful! Lousy graphics and the music is just awful. Storyline is just bizarre - no cohesion! Items are so tiny that it is impossible to find. For example, look for coins and they are shown as small little dots! Or item like "clocks" (plural) but you are only looking for one clock. Or a key ring is shown as a tiny little square on the ground! The graphics are already so poor and yet the developer makes it more frustrating to play by making the whole scene very dark so that you view it through a flashlight. Jessica Mysterious Journey? The mysterious part is you don't know what you are looking for. This game sucks!

Horrible. I gave up after about 15 minutes. If you are use to playing the Mystery Case Files Series do not buy this game. Whoever made this game just threw a whole bunch of stuff together. No fluidity whatsoever.

I do not even want to give it a star. Not a good HOG game. This review might sound repetitious with the others, but they are pretty much so right. Objects are very tiny with all the 3 kinds of hidden object games they present to you. For the list of hidden objects, didn't even have to look at the list, I just clicked on items and they were what was listed. Grammer/spelling of the dialogues, terriable. Usually I do not pay attention to that but when "jassaca"(which was printed in one of the cartoon scenes)said "oh my gog".. what is a "gog". I was trying to hunt down the directions and meanings of especially what the fish were for and found out if when you hit the tutorial selection for each section, there is a column on the left-hand side. Clicking on a box in that column gave you instruction. So as far as the fish part, it is supposed to give you an extra hint. But like others had said, why the symbol of the Christian Fish and why the burning when you found all three? Turned off music, so I cannot comment on that. As for when sound.. what sound? Just when a person maybe clicks on a wrong item (I think) and going to another scene, it gave a "clunk" sound. Stupid. Deleted the game after 20 mins but would have been shorter if only I didn't start all over with new game just to find out about the tutorial and also let the comic strip go thru it's course. Also, everything was the hidden objects that a person had to find.

Sloppy game, poor English, some objects unidentifiable. Nothing redeems this game.

Why do companies keep releasing these disasters?? I really believe some of the developers for "Detective Agency" must have worked on this game, as well. The English is terrible, there are no instructions, the way objects are hidden is a carbon copy of "Detective Agency". (Many are extremely tiny and/or hidden paritally off the screen.) There is a very odd, rudimentary Christian theme running through the game. There are three "Christian fish" symbols in each scene, and the mini games seem to lean toward pictures of what may be Old Testament angels. The overall effect is very strange. The main character, Jessica, looks like she belongs in an old detective film as the very well-endowed secretary to some cigarette ash covered "gumshoe". If you are not exceptionally good at searching for objects by their silhouettes, forget this. The only positive I could find was the music; it was pleasant.

I've played years of HOG games, and this has to be the worst one ever. How did this get published? With all the exceptional games out there, do not spend your money here or even your time on the demo.

One of the worst HOG's I've played to date. Not only were the some of the items so small they were impossible to find, some of them were on the edge of the screen. Even with the hints, I still had to click around the area and hope I'd hit on the item. In addition, this would not be a good game for a newbee, since there were no instructions whatsoever. In each screen there were 3 Christian fish symbol and if you found them all they made a fire in the bottom of the screen under the hint button, but nowhere did it tell you what it meant. Where they for extra hints? It seemed there were unlimited hints, so I don't think that was it. Did it give you more time? Who knows? Also, this seems to be a religious game since the puzzles had that theme to them. If so, it should say so to alert people up front. This had nothing to do with the description of the game or supposed story line. I also didn't make it thru the demo and I rarely give up before the hour is up. I just couldn't stomach it any longer. Don't waste your time!! If I could give it less than 1 star I would.

Graphics were subpar and nothing seemed original about it. Too many of the things you had to find were very small. The "20 coins" to find looked like flat discs of paper. This is not a game I would buy.

I really liked this game. I wish the graphics were a little brighter, but all in all they were not too bad. It is not a particularly hard game, so even newbees can enjoy it without becoming frustrated. Yes, some of the objects are very small but there are plenty of hints to use. It's not the best HO game out, but it is worth a try.
