Having the same trouble finding the scissors.  Help Please. The walkthrough doesn't help in this case.  Anybody?????

Just a followup on this previous post.  I finally gave up and did the game over.  Never did find the scissors.  Must be a glich.  Finished the game in record time the second time around.  My only comment is that it is an OK game.  Not the best and certainly not the worst.  I'm glad I finished though.  I hate leaving things undone.

I have the same thing- no scissors. It's not exactly an innovative game so no excuse for bugs- I want my money back!

Same here.  If this isn't resolved, I want my money back too.  I can hear the frustration in your voice.  Likewise.

I also have this issue. I restarted the game to have a new list of objects (without scissors), and succeeded to go on with the game for a while. But then I couldn't find another object (the elephant in the Kramerwords cafè), so I've given up. Quite frustrating...........

Hi folks.

I work at Merscom (a co-publisher of Hostile Makeover).  I can confirm that the scissors problem that you are encountering is indeed a block that cannot be passed.

We have sent an updated build to portals with this problem fixed, but it's in each of their hands when that build would be available to download.

I apologize for the bug.  I know it can be extremely frustrating.

P.S. You can find the elephant though.  I've been told it's very big... and might be peering through a window.

Anyway, thanks for the answer, I'll wait the build, because the game is really nice.
