This is just a brilliant game, lovely graphics, even great originality (penguins??), relaxed gameplay and a silver and gold for those who want the challenge. They really know how to build on their strengths. Far better than Pizza Party which was so hard (yet more levels than the previous two). I enjoyed all the new critters. Can easily recommend this one.

I love all the Farm Frenzy games. I found this one to be sluggish in place's which is annoying. The graphics are great, going to different countries with different animals is interesting. Yes, it is hard to get a Gold first time but I like going through it over and over to achive this, it makes the game last longer.

I enjoy the game a lot, when I can play it. My issue is with the sluggish way it runs and the frequent freezing of my computer with loss of progress. This has been a constant problem with all the Farm Frenzy games. I've had the game since it came out but I have yet to finish it through because I get so frustrated with it.

I admit, I became emotionally attached to the animals in “Farm Frenzy 3.” I screamed out, “No, baby!” as the lions came soaring down from the sky in Africa. I was torn. I’m a Leo. So it was good to see my fellow brethren participate in such an awesome game. But I had to protect the animals. It was both a sad and exhilarating affair to cage the King of Beast, the King of the Jungle. But my sanity did prevail in the end. “Farm Frenzy 3” is by far the most ambitious of the franchise. From the moment you start playing, you know the developers have put a lot of time and energy into putting a fresh spin on such a recognizable formula. For me, everything that really should be better in this game is. The level map is more linear and much easier to track your progress than the previous neighborhood like map with streets and corners. Each of the 5 locations represents a farm and the buildings grow on the map as you make progress throughout the game. Just the variety of animals that are included this time is quite remarkable like: Ostrich, Yak, Lion, Royal Penguin, Polar Bear, Walrus, llama, Jaguar, and more. Wow! On top of that add 17 buildings that make different products. It’s major eye candy. One highlight has to be the fitting rooms. If you catch one of the predators and send it to the fitting room it comes out with a unique outfit. Every predator has got their own getup. And you can cash them in for $7000.00 which is a big help when you have huge cash goals. “Farm Frenzy 3” is my personal favorite of the series. I’ve played the original “Farm Frenzy” and “Farm Frenzy Pizza Party.” For me, the third time was the charmer. All of the potential that was evident in the first game has finally come to fruition in the 4th version. Some developers never make good on the promise of the first game in sequels that follow. But I have to applaud Alawar and Melesta for graduating with pomp and circumstance.

I usde to love the farm fenzy games but the last two have been terrible and i quit in the middle, at least this one has a story but it was still terrible. You can't beat it unless you play perfect games and you can't get the upgrades you want if you want to be able to beat later levels. This game is awful

It's great to see, that a game can go more complex without being unplayable. The graphics are just gorgeous, and in now 75 levels I did not have once the trouble, the reviewer mentions. It is a real well done mixture between Farm Frenzy II and Pizza Party, which defently was too complex. It's true, you often first have to find out what to produce or buy, but if this game wouldn't have had some extras to FF1 and FF2, everyone would have complained about this. FF3 does a great job, as good as in 1+2 and much better as on Pizza Party

Hm. Generally, the game is fun. Except when it isn't. I absolutely adore the way the penguins eat fish. I love that game play is more or less straight forward. There are some levels, though, where the recipe for the mega cake gets confusing, as you cannot produce each part on every level, and usually need some time to figure out what to buy and what to produce. I also don't "get" the mega cake - why in the world does it need varnished souvenirs?! I also hate that dogs disappear fighting the predators. And I really, really hate that predators that are caged, then break out ACTUALLY DESTROY YOUR BUILDINGS. This means you HAVE to collect each predator one way or the other, even if you have no space to do so. Upgrading the warehouse becomes essential on almost every level. The really annoying part is the snail pace on most levels. The animals are beautiful to watch, but the second you have loads of animals, any predator coming down or just all machines running simultaneously, the game play (already in windowed mode) slows down immensely, down to 30% of the actual pace. This makes it a 2 star game in my eyes, since this really should have been caught in beta mode.

There are pluses & minuses with this game. On the plus side, the graphics are a huge improvement on previous games. I also love that there are 5 different farms with different animals & different look and feel to it. However on the minus side I found it way to confusing with all the different ingredients and having to constantly switch buildings. It was the same with Pizza Party, it just got far to fiddly to manage. I do enjoy the Farm Frenzy games, but I wish they would go back to basics like in Farm Frenzy 1 when there were less ingredients & recipes, less switching about, a lot less complicated and in my opinion a lot more enjoyable.
