This is like Build-a-lot without the challenge, and like Wonderburg without the humour. It then adds some nice-looking pharaos and not so great looking scenes, throws some confusing details in the mix (WHY do different buildings all reduce cost of materials, and by how much, exactly? no clue) - and leaves it at that. It's not really horrible bad, but... it's not Build-a-lot.

Love the game bought it but cannot buy worker for gardens and do the upgrade to 4 on houses. Does anyone know how to buy the labor for the gardens, I have had as many as 30 workers and still cannot upgrade to 4

This game is awesome! Extremely addictive as I have played for 2 days straight now and about to replay it again. Somewhat like the BAL games but not exactly the same as some newer concepts are thrown in ... which I love! Don't know how else to explain it but worth the money I paid for the full version! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!

After playing the one hour trial version i must say that i really enjoyed the game. The graphics are okay. Sometimes a bit wooly. Especially the buildings. The characters are wonderfully drawn and in a style that i personally really appreciate! What the difficulty is concerned its normal its not hard at timed play so the sandbox or the non timed levels are a bit overdone. The small characters in town are really fuzzy. Not very good but at least they bring livelyhood into the city that is more than i can say for a game like build a lot 4. I like the disasters because you have to deal with the issue but it doesn't disrupt the game to much. I like the plagues as well but sometimes you do not get what is happening exactly due to very small graphics. Overall an enjoyable game. However next time i would recommend not to have blind person make the logo. The logo consists of 3 styles and each style on its own works nice but put together its like putting a dress on a male. Its just doesn't work. Other than that great fun! Could need more work on the very small graphics. Fine for an hour trial but finishing all the tasks with hardly any challenge would leave me behind my desk with an inprint of my keyboard keys on my face because i would have been sleeping on it!
