Oy vey! I am trying to get the furnace working, and got part of it done, but when I try to add more coal Thomas says "let's wait for it to heat up more" or something.....The one on the left is full, but the one on the right won't let me add any more coal or whatever it is- so I can' get to the sack with the disks. I did the moon and sun puzzle, etc. and talked to Iris, who says it will take her hours to do the chart or whatever. Anybody know where I goofed? Thanks!!!

Keep getting same message from Thomas about having to wait "furnace not hot enough yet...". I think the game has some glitches. I looked and looked for ochre powder, which wasn't there...restarted 3 times, still no ochre powder. EMailed everyone that could answer, to no avail. But, ironically, last time I started new game I had ochre powder. Also, when Thomas is to leave the mausoleum and see "steam from the chimeneys"... and then "remove the 2 vents from the statues..." Well, got one off of right statue, but left one won't budge. All I get is having Thomas say "these plates hold the brass......". So, stuck there too. Tried putting the board over to the hippopotamus but won't let you until you rectify the vent situation. So, I'm begging, pleading, cajoling anyone for assistance...lol! Good luck!! Thanks and huge KUDOs to any and all who might help us through this....Thanks!!
Uhm...I just posted this on another one that had the same problem.....because I am having the same problem. I really wish people wouldn't post the solution as looking through a walkthrough until they have read the walkthrough themselves. If they had, they would see the walkthrough simply states to remove the bronze plates. If you played the game you would know if you walk right the character thanks one of the gods and the plates on the right can be lifted off. If you go to the left plates, the hooks are still attached and they cannot be lifted. So there lies the problem. If anyone has an actual solution to the problem please please please......let us know. I have already emailed the company, but of course no response. And as far as I know......there is no patch.
