Excellent game. Beautiful graphics, lovely music & great story! Objects are well hidden but not to a point where it's impossible to find. The conversation between the characters are kept to minimal. The mini-games are easy except for the very last one which is very hard. I had to use the walkthrough in this site to guide me through it. Overall, I really enjoyed this game. Looking forward to the sequel!

I enjoyed this game but I did get a bit bored towards the end as it was very samey. I wasn't a huge fan of the find the difference style mini games but otherwise it was quite good.

I liked this much better than Cate West - Vanishing Files. There is a bigger variety of puzzles and cool mini hidden object puzzles in each chapter. My only problem, as with so many Hidden object games, is that it just ended. You work through the entire game to get the Velvet keys and when you get the final one, the game just ends. I think if they had had a really good HARD puzzle at the end of the game would have almost been perfect. Oh, and there are some typos in the spelling of some of the objects that I thought was kind of comical.

Excellent. I looked forward to her next case. There is a lot of variety to Cate West. Her methods of solving a case are unusual but fun. The variety of puzzles keep the game interesting. The graphics are great, too. Play at your leisure and enjoy the game.

I'm not going to buy that game. I played the free trail and I was so disappointed. The story is nice but I just got bored.

[#2 CASUAL GAME OF 2009, #2 BEST SEQUEL OF 2009] Another Casual Game Hit you don’t wanna miss out from Gamenauts! I love this wonderful treat much more than its prequel. It’s ‘complicated and stupid’ that an IndieSpirit Team (KatGames, Wadjet Eye Games…) like Gamenauts can persuade me to play almost their games (BR, RR, CW and CW2). [PROS] Sharp Hidden Object level design and backgrounds. Excellent character design, music, audio and story. Satisfied ending. Addictive. Awesomely new twists and mini-games. [CONS] A little bit hard for newbie.

I really enjoyed the second installment of the Cate West series. I loved the first and I loved this one too but for different reasons. The first had features the second didn't but the second has features the first doesn't. So it's a bit of trading back and forth but I love this one! Couldn't pay loads of attention to the plot cause I wanted to get as much playtime in the trial as possible. Great game, just a bit repetitive at times on items. Lots of games can be accused of that! lol Other than that though, wonderful! lol

Not quite as good as the first game, but almost. I found the story to be just a tad fantastic - but then, that's what it's all about, right? The scenes are what you'd expect in an old city setting - kind of gritty for my taste, but they fit the story. The objects were just the right amount of difficulty - not too hard, nor too easy to find; well-drawn for the most part. The mini games were somewhat challenging, but repetitious. Yes, let's have another.

Fantastic, the second Cate West is great, more indepth, harder to find items and better mini games. Keep the Cate West games coming.

I find this game to be very good compared to many of the new HOGs recently put out. This story line is new and interesting, the graphics are great, and the mini games different. I purchased the game after the initial free 60 minutes.
