I liked the game, but it is WAAAAAAAAAAY toooooo short. About 2 hours and you are done. I wouldn't recommend buying it, the trial will just about cover the whole game

Not really exciting, too short for a TM, not very challenging. Too bad because it is well crafted and has a few good points (the upgrades are good and the house building is fun, even if the house itself is too flashy for my taste!) Maybe for beginners!

This game is very short and ends just as it's starting to get slightly challenging, so experienced time management game players will sail through. It does have nice graphics and sound effects, clicks register perfectly, controls are easy, and there are nice upgrades. The mood component was a nice change. If only a little more had been put into it: othter locations/levels; personality to the customers; speed upgrades for the machines/shop upgrades, it could have been a 4 or 5 star game.

An easy time management game with an interesting premise (move to another city, earn your living, build your house) but too slow-paced for "hardcore" TM fans and a bit too limited to recommend. The graphics are definitely different (Barbie dolls cardboard cutouts). Kids or elders might enjoy it, as it requires less dexterity than most TM games out there.

I finished building the house and played the game up to buying the popcorn and then I ceased playing...I did enjoy this game for the simple reason of not being stressed and working my finger to a point of bruising (just kidding but almost LOL) like some fast more challenging games...I would recommend this game especially to those who are starting out with this type of action game.

This game is plain and boring. There should be a tag underneath that says something like "No brain required" or "mindnumbing." I did finish the demo but I only played the game that long to see what the house would look like. If she wasn't building a house then I would have quit long before.

Not a patch on Cake Mania and I don't like the silly pseudo realistic characters (who sort of amble onto the screen with as much life as cardboard cutouts!. Gameplay not too bad if a bit boring and not enough choice of updates. Save your money!

If I was able to, I'd rate this as 1/2 star. I played the trial of this game. I didn't like it at all. It was much too easy, storyline was pathetic and the game itself was way too short. I quit with 30 minutes left in the trial simply due to boredom. Play the trial but do NOT buy this game, it's simply not worth it. Real disappointment from Alawar, especially knowing they created Farm Frenzy games & Beach Party Craze.

I didn't like this game...too slow and the gameplay was too simplistic, especially when comparing it to similar games.

I like it!

But proper time management games stress me out. Cake Shop is a TM "lite" click-festival for people like me.
