Time Traveler

I know I saw something somewhere about the time traveler book, but cannot find it and this one is a bugger, don't give you enough time to look for anything, all I have so far is the card and I will be darned if I can get anything else, did both puzzles and all I got was the card. Help????? Need more time on this one.....

Oh, also got some globe that went on the time machine, where the heck do you get the code for the blasted machine or a key to open the door to the machine????????

Micky, I think that if you pull the plug on the fan, it will stop with a page caught in the blades that gives you the combination for the machine by the time travel machine.

Spoiler:
In the Traveler book there are 3 pages. The main page where the Traveler is and a second and third page.

Go to the second page and unplug the fan and click on the paper caught on the fan. Write down the numbers that are on the paper.
Then work the cube puzzle and get the card for the Traveler.

Go to the third page and click on the blackboard grid and solve the numbers puzzle.
Then get the orange sphere from the box on the desk.
Then get the Time Machine handle from the third drawer in the brown file cabinet on the right on the screen.

Go back to the main page and click on the machine lock code stand just to the left of the machine entrance. Enter the code that was on the paper on the fan and the Time Machine door will open.
Put the sphere in the Time Machine and a close up window will open where you can put the handle.
Give the Traveler his card and he will leave. The book is complete.

Here is a picture of an example of a solved Cube puzzle from the Traveler. This puzzle is random so this is just an example.

For me, the most confusing thing about the cube was that you can't get to all 6 sides. You can only get to 3. But once you can get it visually in your head, it's pretty straightforward. You just have to connect the two squares of the same color without crossing over the linse you used to connect any other color pairs. (See Lizzie's example above.)

the one I can't do is the number one. When I get one side right and then use the same numbers for the bottom, it changes the side numbers. How do I do it ?

hannah, Which puzzle or mini-game are you asking about?

Hannah, that's the puzzle I'm stuck on too. It's the number one, where you have to "toggle" the numbers up vertically and horizontally. I'll get one the right side all correct, but then the bottom row numbers don't match, and when you try and correct it, then the right side of numbers is incorrect then.

If i read this right...the math puzzle...go for the big sums 1st....this puzzle changes every time you play it....so no real solution...if you have 2 rows green...left & bottom....this tells you that a number in this row cannot be changed...

hope this made sense
