Orbs, Hints and Time Limits for Azada Ancient Magic
Hints – Hints are given at the beginning of each book. You get two in Relaxed mode and five in Adventure/Timed mode. If you use a hint in the Adventure/Timed mode you suffer a penalty of 3 to 5 minutes.
Reset or Time Out - If you are playing in Relaxed mode there is a Reset button in the bottom center of the screen. If you are playing in Adventure/Timed mode there is a Timer in that spot. In Relaxed mode you can Reset the book and start that book over. In the Timed mode you have to let the book’s time run out. Your Hints are restored when you start the book over but your Orbs are not restored.
One small additional point...As I mentioned in the thread in Do you know which pages to work on?, there is actually one more feature to the hint system, and this one, I believe is unlimited.
When you click on the Hint button (the picture of Titus in the lower right corner), it will do one of three things. It will ask you if you want to use one of your limited hints. Or it will tell you that you need to go get objects from another page. Or it will tell you you have finished this page.
I'm pretty sure that those last two are "freebies"--that is, there's no limit to the number of times you can check to see if you need to go find objects in another room. That can really save a lot of time when working the books.
There is another mini-game that is not available in the library for replay after the game is complete. It is the Painting that you reassemble as a puzzle in The Ghost book.
Help! I feel stupid ,but I am having trouble with the mini-tile game in descent-I believe 4th chapter.I have moved those tilesevery which way ,and Am having trouble getting through it.Can you help? ,I have checked out the tips & tricks part.Azada-Ancient Magic.
