Which saqpack?

Hi

I bought Saqqarah originally from iwin but could not reactivate the purchase when my computer failed.  I'm looking to buy again from codeminium this time so that I have more control over the reinstallation.  I would like to buy a saqpack (or two ;) ) and wondered which were people's favourites?

I completed all of Saqqarah before the computer failed and loved it enough to cope with paying for it twice ;)

piffy, I really like Saqqarah too.  I hadn't quite finished it when I got another PC so of course I lost all my progress.  I also bought the game retail when it came out so I will always have it on cd.  I bought it from BF the first time.  I haven't finished the game yet so I haven't played any of the saqpacs.  I do plan on buying them tho from Codeminium.  Quite a few here have got them so hopefully someone will come along to give you their favorites.

Hi guys I loved playing Saqqarah, but I won't pay another 9,95 each saqpack..It's not worth it in my opinion and a developer should give this as an update for free Yell

Piffy, I´m pondering this question myself.

I haven´t finished Saqqarah. Some temples are golden now, but I have small hopes to get gold for all the temples. I´m just not very quick with the mouse.

I´d like to play new levels. But which Saqpack to take?   LOL

The price is all right with me. After all the levels are new and have a new set of graphics. I´d like to buy it from BFG better, though.

I have this game and all of the Saqpacks, Codeminion gave me the latest Saqpack Far Eastern Frenzy for free. :)I have only had the game and Saqpacks for a few days so in a week or 2 I will post back on which Saqpack I think is the best.

I really like Saqqarah.  It is quite the puzzle game.  With over 500 puzzles, you really get your moneys worth and then some.  What I also like is Codeminion came to one of Saqqarah forums and spent a lot of time helping us.  Some of us were having a hard time with the Temple of Thot because of the timer.  We voiced that it really took the fun out of the game.  He told us he would see what he could do.  The next day he was back and said they were working on the game to add a no timer feature.  We were so happy.  In a few days, the new version was out with a the no timer option.  Then he told us they were going to make Pacs to work with this game.  Each pac would be another 500 levels.  That is like getting a whole other game.

He asked our opinion on what we thought a fair price for the pacs would be.  We all agreed that $9.99 was a fair price.  He said that that sounded fair.  He made the pacs that price.

Any developer that spends that much time and I'm talking days and listens and changes the game for the players has my loyalty and my dollars!!!  The pacs are well worth the price in my opinion.

Hi Folks,

@ Levendig, I must respectfully disagree with you about the Saqpacks. They are most definitely worth the $10 bucks! It is like getting a whole new game for half-price as it contains every bit of content as does the original. Everything that Scooter has said is quite true and the entertainment value and the quality of the game are Great. If you like Match-3 games at all, this is probably the best one on the market right now. Just as good as the Jewel Quest series and to Judy and I in some ways better, though I must admit that we enjoy playing both.

@ Piffy, If you want to save some money you can buy the original game at Big Fish for $6.99 and then buy the Saqpacks from Codeminion for $9.95 each. That is what Judy and I did because we couldn’t afford the initial price of $20 bucks. If your ever have a computer crash on you in the future all you have to do is download the original game from Big Fish to your new computer/hard drive and re-install the Saqpacks you have bought from Codeminion and you are right back up and playing. I know this works because that is what I did with my wife Judy’s new computer. She and I both love the game and have enjoyed playing the Saqpacks just as much as the original.

As to which one of the Saqpacks are the best, guess that is pretty much a matter of personal choice. We own the first two and liked them both equally. We won’t be able to get the third one until next week when we get our Social Security checks, but are expecting to enjoy it as much as the first two. We think enough of the game to buy one less credit from Big Fish this month so we can afford to buy it from Codeminion for the extra $3.

@ TeeGee (aka Codeminion), you might want to tell your Boss that you have pushed this $9.95 price point just about as far as it will go in our current economy. We will be buying the third Saqpack because we feel the value of the game makes it worth it; but unless there is something brand new in the next one you release we won’t be buying another one. You guys have made a quality game and it gives great entertainment value for the money, but this one has gone just about as far as it can. For those of us on a fixed income an additional $3 bucks out of our entertainment budget is a bite we are not able to accept for extending a game’s replay-ability. Just one Old Man’s thoughts, take them for what they are worth.

Happy Gaming All,

OldMan44

I´ve just been to Codeminion to buy SP2 Egyptian Encounters. During the shopping process they made me a bargain price for each or both of the other 2 SPs.

Customers from the EU may be interested to hear that the price was in EUR for me, very comfortable!

Well I just bought Saqqarah again, via the Codeminion site.  I wish I'd been able to pin iwin down to refunding my money or reactivating my game but there you go.  I'm now permanently suspicious of any of these big game brokers.

Buying from the UK my bill was automatically priced in GBP but reasonable for such a good game.  I added two of the three saqpacks at a reduced price.  I put the third one in but picked it out again when it brought the total over 20 GBP... just a little irrational psychological barrier ;)
