A pretty good Match-3 game in the battle/adventure style of Puzzle Quest. Although it lacks the challenge and story depth of Puzzle Quest, it does make for a fun excursion. The graphics are excellent, the sound is great (except in later levels, when it gets a bit monotonous at times), and the ending text made me LOL :) Definitely recommended for Match-3 fans who like a bit of adventure :)

I am not much of a Match-3 player, yet really liked that game. You have three different kinds of match 3 types set in pirate surroundings. You either need to clear a hidden (yet set) path to a treasure chest, light up every tile on the board by breaking something on top of it, or fight an enemy through match 3, looking out for falling pirate skulls (that will hurt you) during the battle. The battles occur when sailing through unknown waters, so before you have cleared one of those missions, you have basically fought at least 5 of those enemies. Some cool mini games, like Keno (where you dig for treasure), poker, etc. The game is losing one point because while it is entertaining, I didn't finish it. I was getting extremely bored of the battles after a while; there just is no fun in fighting 7 or more squids one after the other, because those battles drag on.

I loved, loved, loved this game! I wish I could give it higher than five stars. The match-3 duels against foes like giant octopi, the keno-style bonus round, the other match-3 variations were all so much fun.

Really a TEN PLUS game **********. As everybody has said this game is excellent in all respects. You really get your money's worth and than some. Lots and Lots of levels, and as stated you can go back and repeat to get more gold. Match 3, Battles, Keno Island, Video Poker, Slot Machines, Treasure Hunt to name just a few levels. As you probably have figured out I love the game.

love this game... lots of replay value... being able to choose the board pieces is wonderful ~ you can choose heavy damage and protection pieces for an easy game or light ones for a harder game ~ that in itself lends incredible replayability... will be playing this game for a long long time...

Awesome game! Great graphics and a variety of Match-3 types, including battle and path boards. Lots of bonuses and achievements. Non-sequential map which lets you decide what type of board you want to do next. The gameplay map itself is huge with high replay value. Lots of fun!

Excellent Match-3 game, with choice of timed and untimed. While it uses square tiles only, there are multiple modes of play, including battling enemies. You can replay any level you like, and the levels aren't sequential; the map will show the levels you have unlocked and whether you have completed them yet or not, and which level is the one you just did. This means that if you aren't in the mood for a battle, you can choose a level that doesn't have opponents. Game itself is lengthy, and has high replay value. Recommended for anybody who enjoys Match-3 games.
