Konami’s arcade classic Frogger has become the company’s first title to be integrated with Facebook Connect. An update to the iPhone version of Frogger has already appeared on the game’s App Store page advertising the ability for players to post their high scores on Facebook and compare them to friends’ scores through an online leaderboard.

Facebook Connect is a service that allows people to use their Facebook account to log on to third-party websites and post updates and other information about their activities on those websites back to their Facebook profile.

There’s also a Facebook version of Frogger that can be played directly on Facebook itself from within a browser window. The app lets players play Frogger for free but shows 30-second ads in between games. The app displays friend rankings, high scores and in-game achievements that the player has earned (such as eating three flies).
