Finished the demo and decided not to buy. Pretty standard HOG fare, but totally BORING objects to find (pick axe, brick, awl, pliers - YAWN) in dingy backgrounds. Creepy kidnapper's voice chimes in after scene completion, but novelty quickly wears off. Nothing new or interesting here to set this apart from plenty of other, more attractive, search games. They could do it better. Great graphics, but what about game play..... You will find yourself stuck very soon because you just don't know where to click. And the bad thing about such situations - when I was stuck hint stopped to work correctly. That feels bad and really extends the gameplay time (great decision, lol). And I had strange feeling through the game - why can't she do that, if she managed THAT? For example, if she's so strong that can rotate huge valve why can't she cut the wire with wirecutters? (that was a thing wire) But anyway it is still fun because Natalie is very cute and attractive character, I liked cut scenes very much. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

This is a surprisingly wonderful game! I was very skeptical because I REALLY do not like marble-popper games, and was afraid that would be a major component. Not to worry, that is a small and certainly manageable part of a very enjoyable game. The objects are, with rare excptions, able to be found with a bit of concentration; the tme alloted is well more than sufficient (This, from someone who HATES timers.); the hints are unlimited, and recharge very quickly; the storyline is good and the sense of adventure and fun simply wins the day. I found only a few mis-labeled items; like a rolodex listed as "loose leaf", and a coffee pot listed as "pot". Overall, this is very, very good. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I found this quite a nice HOG. The mini puzzles are nice. The objects are not too easy to find, but I didn't need to use the hints. I started playing on the advanced mode, but for some reason half way through it switched to the basic and I couldn't change it back. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I really enjoyed this game. Some of the puzzles are hard, but the hint system is quick to reload. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I really enjoyed this game, it may not be as good as the first but still a very good game, did need to use the walkthrough for certain spots as someone else said it was sometimes hard to find the bridge parts and where you were supposed to do your second mission, but overall a very good game... Really enjoyed this game even though I can't stand the marble popper bit. Great graphics. For some reason the demo did not end so I got to play the entire game. Thanks mumbojumbo. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Good mini games, nice graphics. Dialogue was pretty bad and the storyline didn't explain why you ended up in certain places and doing certain things. Could've explained the plot a whole lot better. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

So Far, I like this game. The only complaint I have is that some of the graphics on the story part are not up to the same quality as the last Natalie Brooks game. It made me feel like they rushed this one out. The game is fun, however, be warned that some of the actions are hard to figure out. To me, this is harder than the last NB. This one takes you on an adventure to find Natalie's kidnapped friend, and it does not disappoint. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

It falls short of the first game. I am not buying this game. Getting disappointed at bad sequels! Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Tried not to vote stars because didn't even finish the demo, so not fair to rate, but site insisted I pick a number, so 3 it is. I consider myself a very experienced HOG gamer, but this one was way too hard for me. Hard to the point of being no fun. Game play fairly standard: find stuff, combine stuff, run around from pretty location to pretty location, earn money, buy stuff. Nothing new there. And nothing remarkable enough about the search scenes to make the ridiculous hiding places of them worth the hunt. Will not be buying this one. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Really enjoyed myself. Art was really nice and the storyline was interesting. Could've used more rooms and more to do in the garden. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Great visuals. Really great visuals. Not that much game play, though. It feels as if they ran out of time half-way through. Tiny place to do things, not that many actuvities, and why in the world you can purchase upgrades for different activities is still a mystery to me... you only needed 3-4 of those upgrades for some tasks, instead of the 16 that were available. It was nice enough to have those pixies on in the background, occasionally checking on them, pointing out what to find or do. But - that's pretty much it. Delicious - Emily's Holiday Season
User Review by GreenRodent
I only played the trial, and I had trouble with getting the game to run because of a renegade frozen mouse cursor (see comments in forum), but once I got the game playing, IT WAS FUN. There are so many things to do, and by day four I know that Emily was ready to lose her mind. I almost always get expert, but in my first (and only) attempt at Day 4 I was unable to get expert. In fact, I thought at one point that I wasn't going to make goal. And I never did find the mouse. Definitely going to be a game I buy if someone can figure out the mouse issue so that I don't have to play the game in window-mode. I prefer full screen play. I bought the game even tho it is not as good as the first. It moves and has challenges. Usually I do not play with the sound on but I think with this one I might have to. Sometimes the areas that one needs to find items in come up late when you arrive at the new scene. Found I was clicking all over but when I went to the map and then back it had shown up. Seems to be getting better as I go. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I'm not going to give this game five stars as I think it lacks compared to the original game. The premise of this game is that you follow Susan's husband David as he attempts to rescue she and Caitlin from the Museum after the earthquake. This game is similar in style to Escape the Museum but lacks the magic. The effort to make it interesting has somewhat failed. David has side assignments to do as well as watching his blood pressure!! Also, as you go through the scenes, you must acquire parts to a bridge that are not always easy to find. I found during my play that sometimes the scene did not cooperate even when you clicked on the right item. You have to do things in a certain order, and because of having to collect the bridge parts it will not let you complete an area if you miss one. Hints, however are plentiful, and Googi has put in an I in the upper left hand corner that will tell you how to complete certain screens. All in all, this is a so-so game. I betaed this game and really loved it. The mumbojumbo folks outdid themselves with a great mix of HOG and marble popping with the LUXOR theme. The only thing I could find wrong is that a few of the HOGS are small and/or blended in to the background and hard to find. Other than that, I classify this as a five star keeper! Escape the Museum
User Review by cathadhaka
Only 2 for this one. It is very long, yes, but objects are soooo small... I play a lot of HOG and this is the only one where I had to use hints at least a 1/3 of the time. No mini games. Very repetitive. I prefer Escape the museum 2. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate
