Good summary of the new features, Thank You. I have one question. What EXACTALLY is this new “Spam” feature? Also (sorry guess this is a second question)…What does this site consider as “inappropriate material”? Just want to have a clear understanding of the rules here and not inadvertently post something that a “computer program” might misconstrue as being offensive when the actual intent was completely innocent. Being a programmer myself I know that “computers” can be quite literal at times, so would like to know what the “parameters” are that would cause the “system” to automatically flag a post for content.

MARVELOUS! You folks do such a great job of listening to your 'audience' and responding! I haven't absorbed all you said, but I will over time.
I do have one head scratcher! With the new design, the message content has shifted about '3 letters' to the left. I can still read but kind of weird.
Do you think it's screen resolution??

I agree with Oldman, It might be nice to know what the program might consider as inappropriate and offensive. Hmmmm....just realized that if you tried to "spell" them out for us, the programme probably wouldn't let it be posted, right!! Oh, well, please give us the best idea that you can.

I don't know exactly how the program works yet, it's a new system and I don't have the key words that trigger it but i am sure that some of the words will be obvious to most, other words, not so much :-) You're right Linda, even if I had the list, I would not be able to post it.
I do know that if 3 people flag a post that it will be automatically removed from the system but that is all I really know for sure. I believe that you get an automated letter but I don't know how that works either. I'm not sure if we get the letter as proof or if the players get the letters.
Sorry, i couldn't be of any help. My best advice is that if you see something deleted, please do not post it again. Thanks, Margie B

your browser history and cache. You can also click on "CTRL" and "F5"
to clear the problem up. let me know if that helps. -
Margie--thanks for the update and great explanation (easy to understand). You guys are doing a terrific job and I appreciate it. Keep up the good work! I love the improvements to the website.

Well, most of the changes are great.
I preferred just going straight to the Members Lounge, or wherever. Now I have to look at the list, find a post from there, and then go to the lounge. Am I missing something?
Very nice remodeling job though!

Hi All, Welcome to the first stage of improvements for Gamezebo!
Please take a moment to read some of the changes that we've made so far. There are many more changes to come, this is only the first part of it.

COMMUNITY PAGES/FORUM TABS
1-"Most Recent" Which are the most recent comments on the site, whether it's from the community forums or from any game forum.
2-"Most Popular" which are the forums that have the most comments, whether it's a game forum or a topic that's in one of our community pages.
3-"Zebo Lounge"In this tab you can access all our community pages, "Member's Lounge", "General Discussions", "Beta Testing Comments" and "Gamezebo feedback"
4-"All Games" In here you can access a list of all the game forums available on the site. Simply click on the first letter of the game you wish to search for and then scroll down the list to get to the forum for that game. This list will be updated daily.
*TITLE-This gives you the title of a thread/topic and the person who originally created it.
*FORUM-The name of the forum in which this topic is located, i.e. "The Member's Lounge", "Beta Discussions" or the name of any given game forum.
*REPLIES-This is the number of responses a topic has received.
*VIEWS-This the number of people who've looked at that particular post.
*LAST POST- This shows you the date, time and the name of the last person that responded to the topic, NOT the name of the person who created it.
REPORT AS INAPPROPRIATE CHANGES
As part of the new forums we are implementing a new system in which the "Report as Inappropriate" button has some new features.
Now, when you click on it, you will have to choose a reason for the flag by selecting one of the 4 items in the drop down menu. You will also have the choice to write a reason for flagging a post.
The only person(s) who will see this will be someone from the Gamezebo administration. You cannot flag your own post. The same person cannot flag the same post more than once.
If three different people flag the same post, that post will automatically be taken off the forum until an administrator can look at it or the system may decide to delete it.
There's is also a new spam feature in which the system will automatically flag your post for content. Please be careful what you write in the forums because all material that is deemed inappropriate will be removed. We run a clean site and we plan to keep it that way.
OTHER CHANGES TO THE SITE
All posts by administrators in Gamezebo will have a yellow/peach colored background.
While viewing posts in a thread/topic you can choose to view 10, 25 or 50 posts per page. This allows you to view more posts at one time by clicking on less pages. You may want to adjust the amount of posts at one time according to your Internet connection.
Once you submit your post, it will stay on the page that you were on instead of going back to another page.
You can now add emoticons (smiley faces or frowny faces )
You cannot edit your post after it's been posted but you can preview it to see what it looks like before you submit it. Write your post as you would normally do and then click on "Preview Comment" and you can see what your post should look like.
QUOTE & REPLY
This is a nice feature, you can actually quote the person that you want to respond to by clicking on the "Quote and Reply" button at the bottom of the page.
ONE LINE-To make your next sentence move to the next line, click on "ENTER" once.
TWO LINES-To make a break in a paragraph, click on "ENTER" 2 times.
ADDING LINKS-You can add links to a page easily, just follow these steps.
A) Enter the name of the link that you want to place on the site. For example, "Gamezebo's Review for Azada"
B) Highlight the name you chose by placing your cursor at the beginning of the word , hold and drag your cursor to highlight all the words and let go of the mouse.
C) Click on the tiny "link icon" that is before the smiley face and a box will appear. Follow these steps.
First line says-"Link URL" type in or paste the link you want to add, in this example it would be www.gamezebo.com
Second Line says-"Target" You don't have to do anything to this line.
Third Line says-"Title" You can write on here the title that you would like the link to have when everyone reads it. For example Gamezebo's Review of Azada
When you see the following message appear:" The URL you entered seems to external link, do you want to add the required http:// prefix?" Click "OK" to select this option, IF IT APPEARS, otherwise just click on "INSERT" to complete the link.
FYI ABOUT LINKS-The following links are NOT permitted on the site:
Links that advertise your company, blog, website etc. are not allowed at any time. If you want to advertise on the site you must contact Joel by clicking on the "Contact Us" link.
