There are so many great usernames on here that I was wondering where you came up with them. I didn't learn how to drive until I was 38. It was a 1993 Chevy Beretta. Only a year old. I had lost over 80 pounds. I was in the middle of a divorce. I loved driving around in that car. I laughed when I made up this username. I am legally blind and to be a Chevyqueen was an inside joke that I kept to myself for awhile. I kid my parents, and husband about driving them places. That's why I picked such a bratty avatar. Hi there, My Dad passed away in 1991. I will always be my Daddy's little girl no matter how old I get and even though he has gone on. He was a pilot in WWII and he had used his childhood nickname as his call name... you guessed it, Omachka was my Dad's nickname. It's my way of remembering him wherever I go online.

Hi Chevy, I took half of my name (Terri) and half of my hubbys name (Matt) and came up with materri and I am also a mom of 4 so it kinda made it easier to remember.

Chevyqueen, what a good idea for a thread!

It´s very interesting to read about your screennames and their origin.

For me I wanted a name that could be spoken and remembered easily. As I love Origami (have done some easy ones myself, but mostly enjoy just looking at the work of experts), the name came into my head. On the site I first wanted to use it, Origami was not available. So I decided to add the Japanese ending -san, which is a polite form of adress.

I hope to read about a lot of GZ usernames here!
