A nice hot and hearty breakfast for everyone on this chilly morning:
Main Entree: Pancakes, waffles, french toast (with any kind of
fruit, pecans, whip topping and an asssortment of syrups); eggs (anyway
you want them); and hash browns and some nice yogurt and any kind of
fresh fruit you would like and some nice porridge just for you rags...Meat: Bacon, sausages (links or patties) and ham
Bread: White, wheat, rye, banana nut, cinammon swirl, and raisin and an assortment of jams and jellies
Drinks: Coffee, milk, tea, hot chocolate, and an assortment of pops and juices
And of course Cinammon Rolls (hot from the oven) dripping with chocolat or white icing
ENJOY!!!!!

Good Morning GZ's People,
Thank you Levendig for the opening! Just woke up kinda after a 2 hour nap/or on of the parts of my sleeping intervals... so i guess i am awake.. actually i feel more awake than yesterday and 2 hours ago... honest, even though i do not know how the heck i worded this, i am awake LOLOL..
Thank you Micky for the card and breakfast. (seeing all those donuts just made me get a stomach ache.. think i'll stick with your breakfast
) I saw on t.v. last night that Robin Williams has a new movie out " old dogs".. I think he stars with the guy who played Vinnie Barbarino.. John Travolta.. Looks good.. also, I think i wanna see the movie "the men who stare at goats" .... but like usual, i get to wait until it is either on dvd or tv...
Gonna go check around GZ...

Morning Levendig
Micky got my porridge going to sit against the fire and toast my toes havent been able to do that for yrs , if I can find a toasting fork ! I might make some toast ... been outside last 2 hrs and its cold we had a frost over night ..
Littleone you and I must be alike, I dont sleep much, my sleep pattern is all over the place , if I do nod off during the day which I am doing more often
I dont sleep at all at night , tried different remedies they just make me fuzzy headed.. Saw the healthy eating and thought of Levendig, who puts me to shame , am always going to start and eat more healthy but, see a cake
which I am always working with and it says eat me , how can I disappoint it lol brought some flowers the perfume from these are gorgeous .
Played Titanic 1912 it was ok but a trial was enough .
Conjurer .. a no no the screen was to dark to find objects ,and I went to download Hidden Magic and it said the disk was corrupt ..
ah well back to Fishdom with my rod lol..

No loud music for this morning for no school today or tomorrow.. end of the marking period.. gotta brag of my "littleone" (who is not little anymore
) but another high honors of a grade average of 97 .. her goal is 100 for next quarter.. even with all the activities she is involved in , in school and her friend, she still does it.. hmmmmmmm.. do not know where the "brainy" gene came from
.. gonna go play a game.. i do try to play HOG's but they only last so long (10 or 15 min.) and then off to a TM ..
Not many TM's to write a review on.. well i guess since i have cake mania mainstreet downloaded.. and half way thru that one.. gonna finish it.. also... i have started playing Dept 42 ,.. i think i am 1/3 way thru.. it is a good HOG game..

To day here in the UK it is Bonfire Night, its the tradition of burning the guy
on a bonfire and firworks ... remembering Nov 5th when Guy Fawkes tried to blown up the Houses of Parliament in London . and he was hanged for treason ..
I dont like today .. to night there will be fireworks going off everywhere, animals and birds dont like loud bangs and noises , so I will be in and out all night , to see if they are ok ..
I know US Thanks Giving is coming up ,but I have never known what is represents , and why you celebrate it ? I know you have turkey as we do at Christmas .. be interested if you can explain ..
Going now I have warmed up RAGS..

( i use them for when i am at the computer and hubby is watching t.v. and i reallly do like my peace and quiet LOL) and taking a french crulller donut... after seeing the card of the day.. my stomach settled down a little

Littleone, you must be very proud of your daughter. I gather 100 is full marks? She´s really top notch. You brains are no bad either, she probably inherited them from you.
I loved playing Dep 42, did it 3 times so far. Haven´t started CM Main Street, still playing CM 3, which is much better than 1&2 IMO.
Rags, thank you for bringing us the yummy fruit, just the thing on a grey foggy day like this. Sorry you had probs with the demos. I agree about Titanic 1912. Enjoy fishing.
Animals don´t like the noise, poor things. Me neither.Just dld TGT; Return of Monte Cristo. Played 5 minutes, then hit the buy button. I rather liked the first one, good gameplay. They´re playing freely with the story, but that doesn´t bother me.

Micky Another great card and great breakfast you get my breakfast tastes going as I am eating my cardboard (obviously it is not cardboard just tastes like it) LOL.
Rags Thank you for reminding me of being a young kid and going out and having a great big bonfire with all the kids who lived on our street. Don't worry about yesterday as we all make mistakes and I'm sure Granny is not mad at you. Loved the doughnuts, I know what it is like not to sleep so I feel for you, it is a no win situation. I could not sleep because of feeling so bad and the pain then I was afraid if I fell asleep I would not wake up so it was a vicious cirle now I sleep when I can night or day and just go with the flow.
Littleone Thank you for the explanation of Thanksgiving, I always just looked forward to a long weekend and did not care what it was about. Now I have both my daughter, her husband and my son coming home so it means more now.
Origami Is your hair still looking good this morning? Mine always looked like an explosion in the morning LOL but at least I have hair now, must admit it was easier to get ready with no hair to worry about but I much prefer having at least some hair.
I am waving to all who follow from the Big Sea or a game might try TGT but have so many unfinished games I am trying not to demo any more LOL unless it is MCF or something.
Granny hope you have an easier morning this morning we are keeping our tickets since I assume they are Christmas colours for the Christmas party.

Donut Day, what a perfect way to start the day. Thanks Rags for the fruit and the Donuts. And Woofie for the recipe to make them. My mother used to make fried cakes on the weekends in her deep fryer. Then my sis and I would put iceing on them. They were so good. Memories.

I'm back but I guess I will have to go through the darn spam filter again LOL.
Glad you hair still looks good Origami and you are right I need to finish the games on my computer but I am heading to TGT but will try not to buy.
Maryerbe I used to read the posts for a long time before I got brave and joined in and everyone has been wonderful so just jump right in they are all great people, even if we do grumble and complain now and again LOL.
Woofie thank you for the song and recipe boy it has been a while since I heard that Beatles song. I have been trying to avoid Big Fish but now you told me TGT I might just have to head that way so if I end up with another game it is your fault LOL.
Sandy I am almost afraid to hit the post button as the last time it made me captcha 2 times before I could post.

Wanda, J.D. Robb also writes as Nora Roberts. Her "in Death" series is a very good one, if you like romance/murder/mystery books!! It also has a bit of comedy thrown in, in my opinion!! LOL To get the full impact I found it best to read the books in order!!

Thanks for the movie preview, Littleone. I spent last night mesmerized by the game and didn't catch anything else.
Rags, as tempting as porridge and toasty fire sound, you do need to have a serious chat with your weatherman and get him to be reasonable once in awhile. Unfortunately my days in front of a fireplace are at an end because my new wigs (the real ones-not the virtually blue ones) are synthetic and frizz in the heat. Ah well. I am enjoying the fragrant flowers:)
It took me awhile Monte Cristo, Origami-san but I finally did, so I'll have to give the sequel a look.
Good to note what you did, Scot-that Thanksgiving is about Family. To me it's the three F's-Family, Food and Football :D
Good note about George Foreman, Woofie. :People should take notice of him, Brett Favre (whatever you think of him), Mark Martin and Andy Pettitte, etc. before they give up on senior athletes.

Origami, I downloaded The Count at 1am this morning. I was up coughing, not sure what that was about. I liked the first one so it is a buy for me and I also betaed it so got to play it before. Plus, my body was rebelling from sitting in the chair at the hairdressers too long yesterday. I knew I should have cancel my appointment but the things we suffer through for out hair. LOL Now I will triple pay.

Linda, I have read all of Nora Roberts books and hers as she wrote as JD Robb. I also have ordered the new PC book, I, Scarpetta. I belong to the Mystery Guild. Speaking of mysterys, our little town has one. Eleven years ago there was a suicide case and the womens Mom believes it was murder. She has tried for all these years to prove it with the press, web site, law suits. Another one is going on now at our court house in the county. She is suing to get the coroner to change his ruling. The true crime mystery writer, Ann Rule, is attending the trial. She is writing a book on the case. I'm sure you have seen or read some of her books. She has so many best sellers. I will be interested in reading her book when it is published. I have read ones like about Ted Bundy and the green river killer. The books do spook me somewhat. LOL

Scooter, I have read quite a few, but not all of Nora Roberts books. I haven't read any of Ann Rules, but have heard of her. Guess I'm not into true life crime!! That sounds like it would be an interesting story, though, especially since you are aware of the background!! I belong to MysteryGuild Canada, too, as well as the Sci. Fi. club!! Double Day doesn't always have all the books I am interested in!! LOL

Have any of you ever read any Fern Michaels books? She is one of my favorite authors. Romance, mystery and dogs. Yes she loves dogs and includes them in every one of her books.
True confession time. I was in such a hurry to finish the games on my desktop that I totally tanked on Campfire Legends and I am starting over! I couldn't even remember what was going on. Oh well, as long as the Hookman doesn't scare Santa Claus away I guess I am okay! LLC
Thanksgiving to me is a great holiday. It is so easy to take things for granted. It is easy to focus on the negative. No matter what religion or beliefs we all have I think it is great to have a day where we truly focus on the people and things in our lives that bring us joy. This year I will have you guys to include!

Linda, I have to read Ann Rules books with all the lights on in the house even in the day time. LOL I usually read the ones that are about events close to home. I have gotten book numbers from Doubleday that Mystery Guild doesn't have and used those numbers to order through Mystery Guild. Works great. They are sister companies. Have a good day at work.

What a rainy day! That when I had to cycle a lot.. To the squash centre (and squash there), and back to school and to home. That's about 15 kilometres (I know, maybe that's not much.. But I'm so tired lately).

Tomorrow it's 'Mondriaanday', that's a day with a lot of activity's and performances of teachers and bands. You had to choose from a list of 53 activity's and I'm with Journalism. Me and 5 other people have to interview people and make the school newspaper. Not the greatest thing to do, but still fun!

Hi its raining its cold and I am hopping mad
my central heating has now decided to play silly beggers, some rads are hot some are cold , its doing all this because I have decided to have a new system installed , but it has to be in the new year now . the plumber
says it could be the boiler or the pump that is going , couldnt it have waited a bit longer !!!!, so I am now having to run electric heaters.. but it isnt the same .. and the bills lol ..

Hello Everyone
Rags my cardboard breakfast is dry toast with milk to wash it down, it is on doctors orders until I get a certain amount of medicine in me then I can eat what my stomach will take. The doctor is thinking about changing one of my meds to try and help as most of my medicines have to be taken on an empty stomach so my alarm goes off during the night every 90 minutes so I can take the pills in a certain order and then when I get up around 4 am I take the last one on an empty stomach. After I take the one when I get up I come to the computer and Gamzebo until the hour is over and I can eat the wonderful toast when that settles I still have medicine to take but it can be taken with food. I take about 7 - 10 pills a day depending on what the orders are, shake me and I rattle LOL. I don't mind as I am used to it now and it is much better than it used to be and I feel good most of the time, just grateful to be here with my family and talk to all of y'all as they say in Texas.
Hope your weather improves and your radiators work for you.

Hello Friends,
Only in for a second. Am watching all my sick wee ones while Kelly is at Dr. They have all gotten their H1N1 shots but came down with some kind of bug.
The H1N1 virus is running rampant in all the schools here. I hate seeing hubby drive off with bus knowing he is exposed all the time.
I am feeling better now but kind of washed out. Although I did manage to bake some Banana Nut Bread to bring today.
Off to check on wee ones. Will be glad when I can set a spell again and visit with you all.
