I'm with you Joel about the Neil Diamond song...really great..and enjoyed the SC Iraq USO Show Tribute... also thnx for the 4th of July sales.. Don't work that hard today and try to slow down a bit and enjoy the 4th of July Anniversary Day..

Hi there everyone just a quick pop in to see what you are all up to... BBQ
.. quite a lot of celebrations by the sound of things.. those of you
who might have rain I am sure it will not dampen your festivities ..
As my time is about the same as Levendig dinner time I will combine mine with her menu dont know how it will turn out mine is fish.
What are you contributing Levendig something fancy know doubt..
and as Pirate brought plenty of doughnuts and cakes that will save on dessert. Made quite a change to have a different breakfast menu today..
Not been so hot today but hot enough was able to work outside on a few jobs. after yesterdays rain the weeds popped up so been weeding my
daliha's and gladioli beds , and dead heading the other blooms now I am
whacked .. dinner on the go.. sandals off what a relieve
.Hope you all have a lovely evening whatever you do..

I'm about as subtle as a tornado. To make up for it (and I hope I'm not stepping on Micky's toes. Not my intention), I brought some BBQ spareribs, potato salad and cole slaw, corn on the cob and the beans. I couldn't carry the watermelon (I have my hands full) so I'm glad there are strawberries! Man, this chocolate doughnut is good! I'll just take one so Linda can have some more.Scooter, between the last time I posted and now, I downloaded DinerTown Detective Agency to pile onto my trials stash. I can't believe I did that when I'm trying to clear out the demo closet. I have absolutely NO resistance! I hope the cows appreciate how hard you're working to keep them happy!
Woofie, if I'm not mistaken, Celine Dion is from Quebec. Thanks for the armed forces salute, too!
Thanks for the report, Puyzzlednana. I have some of GH's free games too and also some from Mostfun. I don't mind the ads.

Hi everybody. Our plans have been moved to tomorrow because of the rain today. So along with Ashie's delicious food I have brought an apple pie, cheesecake with cherry topping and of course Chocolate BROWNIES !!!!!

Ashie, Yummy, BBQ, thanks for bringing it. I'm filling my plate as we speak!!!! You are not stepping on Mickys toes or anyones. We bring food all the time. LOL Fresh corn on the cob, great!!

Good plan Levendig. I will do that. I have an oven that mixes and bakes all at the same time. So, here they are all ready. And out popped another apple pie too. Wow amazing..LOL I love these modern kitchens

Scooter. I've been well but have been playing on FB a lot. Most of my family and friends from work are on there now and I had a lot of catching up to do.
It really is funny to see the grandchildren of people you knew before they were even married. We met for dinner and gabbed until the wee hours, but it was a lot of fun.
I am glad that Joel is working on the Captcha problem. If I hadn't been so tired I would have been more patient. I just don't like spammers and felt outraged to be considered one of them. LOL

Today, my plans are to work a little (the site must go on...), enjoy music (jazz festival down the street), do a little bbq, and watch fireworks.
I know that I have probably shared this song before, but it is Neil Diamond, and it's my favorite patriotic US song:

I hear your message loud and clear. The anti spam software has fixed a huge problem we had but at a cost (it's working overdrive).
