Breakfast is here whenever anyone comes in to get it:
Main Entree: Pancakes, waffles, french toast (with any kind of
fruit, pecans, whip topping and an asssortment of syrups); eggs (anyway
you want them); and hash browns and some nice yogurt and any kind of
fresh fruit you would like and some nice porridge just for you rags...Meat: Bacon, sausages (links or patties) and ham
Bread: White, wheat, rye, banana nut, cinammon swirl, and raisin and an assortment of jams and jellies
Drinks: Coffee, milk, tea, hot chocolate, and an assortment of pops and juices
And of course Cinammon Rolls (hot from the oven) dripping with chocolat or white icing
ENJOY!!!!!
Has anyone played Wisegal yet, I played the demo and wondering if the whole game is like the demo if so not too bad a game if a little easy except for the scenes where you have to take a pic of a certain in the scene, hate those scenes...

Yes terrible news from the US it really is sad and yes symphathy goes without saying.
We have also had our share of grieve again in Afganistan this week
6 young guys having they tea were shot by Afganistan men they were training for the police ..
one was 18 came from quite near this area ... such a loss of such young lives
doing their duty to their country , it really does bring tears to your eyes..

I just went online to see what had happened that is horrible, it is bad enough when they have to go to a foreign country and get killed in action but when it happens right at home it makes it worse, sympathies to all of those poor boys families, I do not know if sympathy should go to the psychiatrist who did the shooting but he must have been really stressed out from trying to heal other warn torn men and could not take the pressure of the thought of going over there himself, certainly sympathies to his poor family...and sympathies to all the other families who have lost men in the many wars we seem to have gotten ourselves tied up in...

Micky I love my porridge and that you serve up is great, bit lumpy at times oops , but I hope you never make this for me porridge it has pork and kidneys in it , just the thing Mr Riverdee might like as hes into Haggis lol

What sad new about the shooting at Fort Hood! The incident in the Afghanistan trainings camp was terrible, too. Losing soldiers in action is bad enough, but these rampage shootings
are even more shocking. My sympathy goes out to their families and friends.Levendig, thanks for opening for us. Enjoy your training and Spa day.
Micky, thanks for breakfast. I have checked out the demo of Wisegal, and found it boring, story, gameplay and all. Taking pics was just tedious, because they show the spots you have to take pics of so murky and pale. I loved this feature in Veronica Rivers and Lost City of Z.
Rags, sorry to hear you have diabetes, another bad disease. Does that mean they know now the reason for your tiredness and feeling under the weather? Sending healing vibes to you.

Hello Everyone
My hubby hasn't disconnected the computer yet so thought I would rush in say hello and go do the riddle before he comes and tells me I have to get off so he can move everything out of here LOL.
As you can imagine here in Texas we had nothing but Fort Hood last night so sad and on the other side of the pond they also lost 5 to a rogue (al queda) policeman. My thoughts are with the families of all involved.

Well we woke up to a surprise this morning. About 5" of PUFF on the ground!!! Our first snowfall here at lakehouse is absolutly beautiful!!! Alot of fender benders reported on news because of black ice under snow. Hope hubby takes his time with the school bus.
Kelly had to go down to Portland to a specialist yesterday. She will have to deliver there when the time comes. They did find 2 holes in wee Tim's heart and he will have to have surgery to repair them. But they did say that they can wait 2 months after he is born to do surgery. If it happens that she goes into labor up here, they will transport her and the wee ones down to Portland after delivery. She goes down again Dec.3rd and if they think she is near delivery they will just keep her there. The Dr.s here are seeing her every week too, so I am sure everyone will be prepared. But Portland is 3 hours away, so loooong drive if you are in labor.
I am feeling much better this morning and ready to cook and bake. So what will it be today??? Cinnamon muffins, apple pastries, cookies, or brownies?? Oh my so many decisions to make here.LOL I will be back later and surprise you all. LOL

Good Morning All!! A chilly, frosty, but sunny (so far) morning here!
I'm going to start, by giving my condolences to all the families and friends of all the soldiers who were lost or wounded in all 3 instances of the violence, recently (and of course any that I might have missed)!! It is sooo sad when a loved one is killed that way, bad enough when they are killed in action, but this senseless actions!!

Grammy great to see you here, today and glad you are feeling better. Hope your family is better soon, too!! whatever you bake for us will be great!! That is a lot of snow, already!! We had some flurries, yesterday, but they pretty much melted when they hit the ground! I'm sure we'll get our share very shortly!! Seems we always get a downfall on Nov. 11th (our Rememberance Day)!! I'll keep sending healthy vibes to Kelly and the twins. Especially wee Tim!! That is a long way to travel, especially when in labour!!

They're superb! Yes, the Ft. Hood murders were horrible! I too sympathize with the families and colleagues of those who were killed and wounded.Not sure exactly how to celebrate Basketball Day, Micky.
Hope you can warm up beneath the hair drye, Rags. How sad for the young British men in Afghanistan. Certainly my condolences extend to their loved ones as well.

I almost didn't come here today. I figured I wouldn't be very good company but, of course, my warm and caring new family would be sympathetic and needing some hugs too! You all help me to remember there are kind and good people in this world.
GrammyApples, it's amazing what they can do for babies. Kel and the babies are in my prayers.
Rags, sorry to hear you have diabetes. I have type 1. With type 2 it is so much more easily treated. I know it is scary when you get the diagnosis but, remember that diabetes is a managed disease.
Hi everyone! Is there such a thing as having too many games? I am afraid I am using up too much of my computers memory! LOL I said I wasn't going to buy another game until I saw one that I have truly been wanting. You know what happened? I heard about a game and that was it! I bought it! I can't help myself!

Good Morning Everyone:
My heart and prayers go out to the families and soldiers of Fort Hood. Also the senseless act of violence in Afghanistan. My friends grandson is still hospitalized in Texas from his severe injuries from the road side bomb in Iraq. He has had many surgeries and faces many more. They also discovered his back was broke. His wife and young children are with him there.
We got the storm that was predicted we would get. Our weather man said we were going to get everything thrown at us including the kitchen sink and we did. I had to shut down yesterday, really high winds and lights blinking off and on but we didn't loose power completely. Mt. Baker had 105 mph winds and Huricane Ridge had 95 mph. Today is not a good beach walking day, swells of 30 feet coming in. Where my granddaughter lives they were getting 2 1/2 inches of rain an hour. That is up north of me. Needless to say their rivers are running high and fast with some minor flooding.
Grammy, prayers are still going out to your family, Kelly and the twins. Thanks for bringing in the goodies, I will have a brownie with my coffee. Snow, don't want it around here. LOL It's coming down in the mountains here, hope it stays there.
Today is our annual Thanksgiving dinner at the Sewing club so I will be off shortly with my Chocolate Cream Pie and brave the elements. Oh, and no sewing today. LOL
I hope everyone has a great day whatever they are doing.

Just popping in while eating my brunch!! LOL I took a dip in the Sea to do the Riddle and ended up playing Slots and then Team Bingo, for a bit!! Needed to come up and dry off!!! LOL

Chevy, I save some room on my comp. by uninstalling the games that I have finished and won't play again, for a while, anyways. I figure I can always install them again, later, if I want!! LOL I keep buying more, both retail and on-line!! LOL

You take care and keep up your strength, you will need it. Such good news. So today is Scooter's Non Sewing, Sewing Club dinner??? How fun. I think you ladies do more eating than sewing. LOL. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Pirate, I will bring back some pie. Yes we do a lot of eating and just think we have a Christmas dinner too. The hubbys get to come to the THanksgiving and Christmas dinners. I saw my first Christmas gift commercial on TV last night, it was an ad by Kohls. It is too early for me lol. Thanks for friends grandson thoughts.

Putting the Kettle on and brought some newspapers for Ralph ( special for men!!) ..
Whilst waiting for Micky's lovely breakie and Woofie's goodies I've some french toast with home made marmelade ( strawberry )... with coffee or tea....
Going to have me fitness hour and after that Spa/Welness afternoon.
