Good morning everyone. Hope you are all recovered from your Independence Day celebrations, and are ready to celebrate more today! I missed yesterday's posts, so will go back and read them in a bit.

Woofie, great song for Neil Diamond Sunday! Not to give away my age or anything, I was lucky enough to see Barbra Striesand in 'I Can Get It For You Wholesale' in what was her first (I believe) Broadway show. She played a character called Miss Marmlelstein (sp?), and when she sang it literally stopped the show!! Thanks for the info on the free game.

LindaB, have fun gardening - and don't work too hard! We had a gorgeous day yesterday, but today there are a few clouds, and maybe the chance of rain this afternoon. Grandson will be here shortly, so he can get outside to play before lunchtime, just in case this afternoon is an 'inside' one!

Hello, GameGran, LOL you came on while I was editing my post, for Ashie,!! How has your weekend been going so far??? Our weather here, has been pretty decent. We have conflicting reports of rain, today, though. Depending what weather report you listen too!! LOL Nice that you were able to see Barbara perform. That would have been really neat!!

Ashie, you are making your way through all your demos. I was thinking about demoing the new game on BF. Did you watch the Nascar race last night? Wow what a finish!!

Gamegran, did your daughter get all her painting done? That is so great you got to see Barbra Striesand live. She is an amazing singer and I like her movies too.
The rest of the hay is going in the barn instead of the bar this morning. LOL The neighbors managed not to catch our field on fire so it was a good day yesterday. We did see the anbulance flying up the valley late last night, don't know what that was about. I'm sure I will hear today tho.

Good Morning everyone !!!! We are having our cook out and party today. All the fireworks were delayed until tonight because of rain. I did watch some of the Boston Pops and the fireworks from the Charles River last night. Neil Diamond sang and he was very good.
Woofie, thanks for the tip about the free game today. I will be getting that one for my grandson to play when he is here. And the song is one of my favs too. One amazing performance by both of them.
Levendig, thank you for bringing in breakfast today. That is very nice of you to do that for us.

Hello, Scooter, glad the hay is going into the barn and not the bar!!! LOL I think today will be the same as yesterday...lol....lots of, what we call "gout weed" (sp?) that has over taken my Peonies and Irises!! ggrrrrr. There is some Flox in there too, and mint. We turned the heater on, for the pool, yesterday, so it will be warmer to jump into, when we are hot and sticky!! I think hubby will be wearing long pants, today, or at least LOTS of sunscreen!!!

Gamegran, they were calling for showers, today, but looks like they have been delayed to tonight and tomorrow morning!! I hope they are right!! Enjoy your grandson, today and hope you don't get the rain until tonight!!

Hi Pirate, sounds like you have a fun day planned. I so thoroughly enjoyed the ending of the race. I think the Shrub learned a lesson there.
Go Smoke!! LLC I'm starting to really like the way he drives. ROFLLC No the cows were pretty quiet last night. They went to bed early, think they were recooping from the night before. LLCLinda, poor hubby, those first of the year sunburns really hurt and this one being on his calves will really sting. I planted mint in one of my flower beds and it was like bamboo, came up everywhere and very hard to get rid of. I still have some out there.

I finished GHOST yesterday. I liked that game. I have to give a shout out to Joel and Origami. They were listed in the credits for the Beta testers. Very cool guys. Also, whenever you all get to the end of the game, make sure and read the credits and look to the right, ( you won't miss it)..It is hilarious.

Good Morning Everyone!! It really seems to be slow, here, this morning!! I guess everyone is recovering from their BBQs and fireworks, last night!
Levendig, thanks for getting us going, this morning, and bringing us breakfast. I's sure Micky won't mind at all!! Of course I will take a couple of the chocolate cinnamon rolls!! Have fun at your friends, this afternoon!
Gram, sorry you couldn't get to see any "real" fireworks. If it wasn't for the apart. buildings (only 3 story) behind us, I would have had a better view of the fireworks, coming from the Michigan Sault, last night!! As it was I did see the odd one that was high enough. We could have gone down to the river to watch them, but the crowds were just too much!! LOL
Woofie, great song, today!! I also love Neil Diamond and I like Barbara, too. History lesson was interesting. Thanks for the info on Monster Trucks, but I think I'll pass!! I hope you have a great day, too!
Cazzy, welcome to the Breakfast Thread and to GZ!! Wow, interesting that you were a motorcycle racer, at one time!!! I'm not a sports fan, of any kind, except I used to curl, when we lived in a smaller town. Enjoy your tennis today!

Well I guess I'll go and see what else is going on.
I think today will be another day out in the gardens. I will have to slather on the sunscreen, though. Got a little too much sun yesterday!! LOL The backs of Hubbys calves are a beet red!! Ouch!!! He was wearing cutoffs when he was triming the hedge......wasn't even thinking!!! Yikes!!! We were soooo busy, yesterday, that by the time I got back here, everyone was gone!!! LOLLC
Anyways, I'll see you all later!
EDIT: Hello, Ashie, you dropped in while I was typing!!! LOL I hope you enjoy Amsterdam!! I did and will have to re-play it, after I have finished a couple more that I have started!! LOL I haven't tried "3 Cards to Midnight", yet, I don't think....LOLLC!! You mean you're not having another BBQ today???
