Origami, I have a 'day off' from my tutoring! The fireworks were fun, but my daughter was a little tired!! Yes, my daughter is a very good friend - and her friends would do the same kinds of favors for her too. I really enjoy observing my (adult) children and how they have developed their lives!
Levendig, it sounds delicious! I have never had smoked eel, although I am a big fan of sushi. I have been to Vancouver B.C. several times where there is a very large Japanese population, and they have the most extraordinary sushi there! In our part of the country, sushi is very expensive - we are so far from the ocean.

Dragoness, maybe the fan blade is slightly loose? The fans I have disassemble for ease in cleaning... if yours are like that, it isn't too hard to tighten up the nut that holds the blade in place. But of course you've likely tried that already!!
Off to do a few chores, then have a look at what I want to play - it's sooo nice having a choice right now!!

Thanks LindaB.. Sorry you don't have to start the game.. I DL it and didn't try it yet... Yep we left the painting for what it is and are trying to keep cool and relax...Enjoy work..
Lil'one: The eel isn't alive anymore and we aren't electrifying it.. Just as usual preparing fish and the special thing is putting it in special salted water for a few hours . After that you take the eel , hang it upside down and smoke it in a big special barrel ( homemade in this case) with special tasty wood shreds for a few hours... It's something special here...
Yep Ashie.. our list is growing.. Just bought the game and DL the trial of Magicians Handbook 2.. we hardly have time to cook or doing the household..huh? LOL . My toe is healed in the meantime... how tough am I and quitted the paiting.. so keeping cool today.. no worries about that...
Sandy-Pirate: Great you've finished the Kuros game..he, he...Working on the MH2 and after that ME2... Have ME 1 too ..Oh my... gamelist is growing this week a lot....LLC

Gamegran, we sure do have choices for games, it's quite different from 2 weeks ago. LOL No eel for me. LOL I have ran across a few eels scuba diving, one look at a Wolf eel and I almost inhaled my whole tank of air. LOL They are really ugly and mean critters.

Just a quick stop-by before my evening ritual of relaxation hour and Dr.Phil, followed by the arrival of my wonderful hubby and a night of comedy. I'm finding this daily wind-down/evening hour followed by a small dose of comedy before bed does wonders.
Levendig do you also like the typically Dutch herring with onions I believe it is? Unagi is my very favorite sushi: fresh water eel. It's brown in color and usually comes with a very light sweet soy-based sauce over top of it. If/when you stop by to visit your hubby's nephew in Frisco, I'd recommend stopping by Japan Town for some good sushi, or my very favorite restaurant, which is called Ray's Sushi and located out in Hayward. They have a phenominal appetizer called the Dragon Roll: shrimp, unagi, the works, just wow. Acknowledged widely as the best Sushi place in the East Bay.
I suppose you could say I did an awesome workout in the heat because we needed groceries, lol. I was very careful to keep the burns covered while I was out. Now it's starting to cool down a bit, which is very nice! Talk to you later!
LindaB good to see you this morning, and thanks! He's Dutch, so his name is spelled Martijn (ij= long i sound) and pronounced "Mar-tine" as in Mars and Valentine. Getting calls from people in the States is perhaps the best when they're trying to sell him something and can't figure out how to say his name! Sometimes they even call him "Mar-ti-jin". It's very cute. It took me a while to get used to the long sounds right next to each other, but I do love it.
And the rings are very precious to me: Martijn picked out the engagement ring on his own and I just love it. Mom actually picked out the wedding ring for me after the original fell through, but I couldn't love it more.

I'm probably the opposite of you in that regard, I don't like getting tans, lol. It just doesn't work well with my complexion and I don't like the feeling of the heat on my skin. Plus, I'm from overdone-tan capital of the world, lol. My Mom tans all the time and it looks wonderful, but me, I'm fine without.
Just as long as my skin doesn't turn porcelain-white! From what I've seen of the tan spray though, it works and bronzes very nicely! 
SandyG nice to see you drop by! Feel free to take the sunshine over here, I certainly wouldn't mind.
GameGran just as you guessed, I took the fan apart but still couldn't find the cause. I'll give the bolt thing a try though, thanks!

Hi Dragoness...Yep like the tipical Dutch herring with onions a lot... Yummy..We have eaten them in the Dordorgne as well during our last trip bought by Dutch people having their own "Herringcar" there on the market..
Great tip about your favorite Sushi...thank you . I'll send an email to his Nephew to ask him if he knows about the Ray's Sushi.. Hey a Dragon roll?? Sounds familiar..LLC . Understand about the workout... it looks like one...LOL
