Troye, dear, you really have a wonderful way to say things and I can just agree in what you say....In the days when I felt so horrible, it was good to know, that all of you sent your good thoughts. It helped coming over this all... and could feel the help it brought. So I will stand here, next to you and I hope, I can give back all the good, I receivedGreetings, Kayleigh

Hey Troye, you nearly made me crying, okay, I weep easily, but nevertheless you really touched me with what you wrote. I send over a lot of good and positive thoughts to you. And a lot of hugs. You know what - I will listen to my favorite song now, because it's one that definitely makes oneself stronger :)

...thought long and hard about posting this... really wanted too, but was afraid that it might come across as religious, which wasn't my intention...
...that's why I call it "good thoughts" and not "prayers" ~ although I suppose that's really what it is... (I do pray, often... but not very formally... it seems I just have a running dialog in my head and heart with God... I just hope I don't offend Him, since I seem to do an awful lot of my strongest and most earnest dialog while in the bathroom... I guess it's the moment at which I most feel my humble humanity and need to feel some connection with the universal... *sigh*) -
Hi Troye. There is a lot to be said for positive thoughts and wishes. Without getting to deep I think we all have the ability to make a difference in someones life, even if it's just with a smile or saying a nice thing. In a small way it may even help a healing process. So I send to you my positive thoughts and energy and hope it helps to make even the smallest of differences. Take care XX

Hi Troye,
This is a beautiful post but as you stated we have to be careful not to let it turn into a religious post. We all have our beliefs and we'll keep that private. That being said I think sending people positive thoughts is always a good thing. Thanks for always writing such beautiful things. Good Vibes coming your way all the way from Maryland :-)

...not that, as moderator, you need my permission, but if you see a post on this topic which could be offensive, you have my permission to edit or remove it... and... if it becomes too much of a problem the topic can be removed without hurting my feelings... (nothing you, or anyone else, can do will remove my Gamezebo family from my good thoughts and well wishes tho'...) -
btw... would anyone mind if I diverted a few of the good thoughts headed my way to my sweetie instead??? (his shoulder is bothering him, and the heat and humidity has him feeling a bit run down... then too, he's a diabetic, and that's always a worry...)

Hi Troye, I type this with tissue in one hand....beautiful thoughts and wishes. And I send warm wishes, and of course HUGS, right back to you and anyone else who is not feeling quite right, be it physically and/or emotionally. It is always nice to help someone feel a little better if we can.....GZ and the wonderful family here is definitely a place that has the ability to make some of our problems fade into the background, at least for awhile. Sometimes that is all we need.Always know ya'll have a mother and son duo, in Texas, that care and wish nothing but the best for everyone!!! Hugs~ Tracey and Jacob

Hey Troye, I don't see anything offensive here and we'll send some extra good thoughts for your sweetie so that his shoulder feels better soon. Thanks Troye and I hope you have a good evening. Margie B

Good Thoughts and Well Wishes
Report as InappropriatePosted on 08/03/08, 04:20pm
thoughts of Kayleigh (may her migraine never see the light of day again)
thoughts of Scooter (may the elephant on her chest go on a serious crash diet)
thoughts of OrangeKnickers (may all go well with the term paper)
thoughts of EIEIO (may she survive the heat)
thoughts of TraceyBubbles and Jacob (may her shingles find a new roof...)
thoughts of blulapis (may her Universal takeover be successful)
thoughts of MargieB, SandyG, Joel, Micky, Shell, Jean, Grammyapples, LindaB, Big Anne, Gaelle, Riverdee (and her Mr.), Hicham, Lizzie, dpd, Puzzledone, Otay, Voyager, MM, kk, vbushido, Karina, and Inconnue... (may all my GZ friends mentioned here, and all the ones I haven't yet met, have great days with good health and all happiness)
...and I've found myself hoping for their good thoughts as well, as my health lately has made almost everything a trial...
...then I realized that if I didn't tell anyone that I needed their good thoughts, I wouldn't recieve as many as if I DID tell them... and, although I'm thinking always about my friends, the thoughts might be more effective if I knew what needs my friends actually have... so... this thread...
...consider it prayer if you will (I can't say you'd be wrong)... or just good thoughts and well wishes sent out to the universe... but, if you need someone to think good thoughts for you, drop a line on this thread, and as I read it, I'll think about you really hard... and... if you want to join with me and think about others, drop a line on here too, you'll get kudos from me, and just imagine how much good more than one person's good thoughts can do???
I can't say we'll cure cancer or anything ~ although it is a proven fact that a positive outlook and lots of loving support and laughter increases the body's ability to fight against all forms of illness ~ but... what can it hurt??? Send a Kudo Post a Reply Quote & Reply
