Good Morning Everyone:
No birds here this morning, they all got blown away in the wind. LOL We are suppose to get a brief break this afternoon and then more coming in tomorrow. We have had a few funnel clouds but they didn't touch down. Spooky to see, we just don't get tornados here. We had one lone tornado in the 70's about 45 miles away. Lincoln City Oregon, my favorite seaside town in that state, did get one yesterday. I saw on the news where it damaged/destroyed 30 homes. Quite a thing for this area. One of our seaside towns where they do a lot of commercial and charter fishing from is under a foot of water from the 30 foot swells/waves that hit them yesterday. I hope this isn't a prelude to what this winter will be like for us. It is snowing like crazy in our mountain passes, skiiers are preping for an early season.
Micky, I don't down load anything from Iwin. They put so much extra things on my PC and had a heck of a time getting rid of them. I did one demo of a game about a year, they put 4 or 5 icons on desktop and I kept having a pop up box come up saying "play Iwin games". It came up everywhere, net and desktop. I finally got all of it off except the pop up and Margie finally told me how to get that off. I can not trust that site. There is no reason for them to do that kind of thing. You would think they would get the hint after loosing business. I won't download anything from them again.
Woofie, thanks for the song and all the info.
Levendig, busy girl today. You will enjoy your new cupboards when they are in.
Misty, welcome to breakfast, nice to meet you.
Rags, good to see you and what a lovely cake you brought Grannyo. Hope you are feeling better.
Maryerbe, Happy Birthday!
Origami, a hot fudge sundae cake, now that sounds yummy. I hope you are enjoying your new PC room, makes it hard to come out doesn't it? LOL My son stopped by yesterday and came in here. He laughed and said, Gee MOM it looks like a Gerbil lives in here. ROFLLC I am surrounded by all my games and papers.
Looking around for Scot, she must be swimming in the Sea.
Wanda, by the looks of the weather map everyone is having sunshine but us, can you do something to change the weather for me? LOL Have a great day.
Linda, you are off to work today. Lobster??!!?? Oh yummy, I hope there are leftovers. LOL Enjoy your day.
Grannyo, that is some party you had, how cute. I loved Pirates glasses too.

GrannyO, thanks for the re-cap of your party!! LOLLC I hope you have super Sunday, as well.
Scooter, sounds like you are having terrible weather!! I hope it clears up soon, for you!! LOL at your sons reaction to your comp. room!! My daughters have about the same reaction at the number of game icons on my screen and retail games under the desk!! LOLLC I used to have only one or 2 games on my comp. at any one time!! LOL Now.........since BFGs and SW!! Oh dear!!
Anyways, time for me to leave for work. I will pop back in after Desparate Housewives!! LOL If there is any lobster left.......hahahaha.....I will bring it in!! LOLLC Here's more almond bark!!! Hehehe

Good Morning Ladies & Gentlemen!
Oh good. Another "celebrate food" day. That's crummy about your IWin stuff, Micky.
Yep. Bet to keep your sgrength up if you're gonna tackle the cupboards, Levendig. Thanks for the message from Rags. I was concerned about her health yesterday.
Glad you're enjoying the last vestiges of summer, rigami-san. Winter will be upon us soon enough.
Morning Maryerbe (Many Happy Returns) and Misty.
What a gorgeous cake! (Belated best wishes from me too, Granny). Too bad you and I don't get to eat any of it, Rags :(
My son wants that steak Right Now, Woofie. We don't keep sugar in the house and I think we're out of kosher salt, too, but he says he's willing to hit the supermarket before Sunday School so I'll give him a list of my own and take him up on it.
Wow Scot! I didn't know that about McAfee. Thanks for the warning!
Linda, why do I have a sudden urge for a Chunky candy? Ya gotta work on Sunday? Crummy. Lobsters? Yummy!
Scooter, I hope the weather cooperates and you don't see anything more of funnel clouds. "Never" is a dangerous word. Stay Safe!!
Everybody have a great day with Fun and Games in it!

Granny loved the video of the party, I assume you were the one with the hat looking on in astonishment at what the others (us) were doing LOL.
Levendig at least you can make something to eat LOL I bet you found things that you thought you had lost. I know you are looking forward to your cabinets and they sound beautiful, then you have to decide where to put everything in them, know you will be glad when you are finished and alll your things put away again.
Hello Ashie nice to see you and don't blame your son that steak sounds delicious.
Scooter I agree with you about IWin had a similar problem and once I got the computer clean never went back. I always check now after I have deleted a demo to make sure that it left nothing behind.
Did a beta for Blood Oath from Merscom but I had to force myself to play for an hour as I was bored maybe if I was into Vampires I would have liked it. Told them in my report that there will be people who are into the vampire storyline that will probably like it but that I was bored and had to force myself to play for at least an hour as I kept hoping it would get better.
Have a great day everyone.

Linda, have a good time at work. Hope it is slow enough to give you time to read a little. Hehehe
Scot, thanks for sharing the stories about your doggies. You´re a good "Mom" to them, giving them a home and love. Our pets do repay us so generously.
Granny, have a super Sunday, too. I hope you didn´t have too much cleaning up to do after that wild party you had. Ooop, you´re still wearing your hat! Hehehe
And the new glasses Sandy gave you. Uh-oh, now we must be very, very careful...Scooter, good to know the hurricanes don´t come into your region. Storms are bad enough, hopoe the power holds for you.
Ashie, I hope you´re having some fun, too. Are you able to play games already?
BTW GH´s free game today is Scrapbook Paige, a challenging straight HOG with cute graphics and an original minigame. A loooong game, too. It´s from the developers who created the G.H.O.S.T. series.

Hello all,
Woofie, thanks for the Seasoned Salt recipe, I'll have to try that one! I can't cook to save my life, but I can mix powders according to a formula--it's like chemistry.
Granny123, happy belated Birthday!
The Game Giveaway of the Day game for November 8, 2009 is Crystal Cave Classic.
It's what I call a "Boulders and Boxes" (Boulder Dash is one of the most famous) platform type of game where each level is a puzzle you solve by moving various objects around and avoiding obstacles and traps.
Great graphics, good music, relaxing and not too hard on the grey cells (to start).
The setup/installer seems a bit weird (on my machine) with all the text replaced by "?????" except for the directory you want to install the game (the default is C:\Games\) and the button with the dark outline is the OK button. This is due to an error on the GGotD site and is not a virus.
The game installs just fine, but it doesn't create a shortcut on your desktop: you'll have to do that yourself. (The game file is CC.EXE in the directory where you install the game)
Their SETUP.EXE program will want contact their web-site to let them know that you have installed the game, so let your Anti-Virus/Firewall software have permission for that.
If you like games like this, get it and install it TODAY, because it won't be free after that.
Off to the caves...

Scot, nice histories on
Report as InappropriatePosted on Nov 08, 09, 09:00am
Scot, nice histories on your pets. It is good that you were able to rescue them and give them such loving homes!!
The first Eve Dallas book that I remember reading was called "Remember When". The first half of the book was written by "Nora Roberts" and then the 2nd part was "written" by J.D.Robb!! LOl when I found out they were one in the same author!! That got me hooked, when I found out that there was a whole "Eve Dallas" series of books!! I have a couple of the paperbacks in which there is an "Eve Dallas" short story!!
I haven't read any of the other 2 authors. I just may have to look them up, if I ever run out of other authors to read!!! L OLLC
Okay, must go and have a quick dip in the tub. I will be back in a bit!
