Here is a nice hearty breakfast to get all of you sleepy heads up and going on this Monday morning (sorry about the wrong date) hope someone can fix it:
Main Entree: Pancakes, waffles, french toast (with any kind of fruit
you would like, pecans, whip topping and an assortment of syrups); eggs
(anyway you want them); and hash browns and some nice yogurt and any kind of fresh fruit you would likeMeat - Bacon, sausages (links or patties) and ham
Bread: White, wheat, rye, banana nut, cinammon swirl, and raisin with an assortment of jams and jellies
Drinks: Coffee, milk, tea, hot chocolate, and an assortment of pop and juices
And of course Cinammon Rolls (hot from the oven) dripping with chocolate or white icing.
And an extra plate of Cinammon Rolls for Joel and the new moderator (just sucking up as usual)
And some for Margie if she should happen to drop in!!!!
ENJOY!!!!!

Good Morning Micky and Origami-san and all who follow.
Thank you for your card and breakfast, Micky! I used to work in a glass museum in Ny and it was awesome. I miss working there but it was only temp. job and they placed me where ever they needed me to go... then the layoff started. It will be awhile before things pick back up, I guess though I hope it is sooner than awhile!

Little-one: No museum today for me ( not really a great museum lover).
Well, I'm a bit exhausted because of the yesterday's Guitar Festival. It really was a great day, but after all very late ( were home around 1 o'clock at night)
So, no fitness hour for me today.. Tomorrow my brother&sister-in-law are coming to visit us ( are over from NY - Long Island here for a fortnight) and they'll arrive here around 11.00am and staying the whole day incl. dinner ( going to have the famous white Asparagus for dinner). Also my other sis-in-law - living here in the Neth. - is coming with them... Full house...
Also doing some housekeeping sothat ev'ting is fresh and clean. Might find time in between to look for new games, but I doubt if that's poss.
Alright friends... HAGD and all who follow..

Good morning! The wrong date threw me off a bit, heh. My finger's a little better, but my typing is still limited. When I cut it, it took off a little chunk of it, so it's raw.
Absolutely no good when you write and do artwork for a living, or want to clean the house!The construction workers came back today after saying they'd leave me alone and having a couple quiet (but busy) days. I wish these guys would take into consideration what I've mentioned so many times: I work from home, so I need the quiet. This is construction week 3. Normally construction like this takes tops 3 days. We're getting the neighbors together to file a very large complaint to the housing agency. This is also lack of laundary week three, since I don't have a dryer, just a clothesline they took down. I'd take the loads to the laundrimat, but I can't carry them because of my back.
We'll think of something. Right about now, I feel like a real-life Plants vs. Zombies, only instead of zombies, it's construction workers approaching my house to make noise and tear it apart. I may draw a comic of that: I'm very glad to say while I was growing up, Mom very much encouraged to make an aggravating situation comical by going overboard in drawings and portraying it. It helps me keep my sense of humor!Micky thanks for getting us started this morning! Maybe one of our higher-ups or the new mod can edit the title for us.
Any chance I could have some of those special-request Dutch pancakes again?Origami-san good morning! I'm not going to a museum either today, but I do hope to go see Night at the Museum 2 on Wednesday! I loved the first movie, it's one of my all-time favorites. I had also wanted to see Coraline, but the local theatre never got it!
Littleone it must have been so neat to work in a glass museum! My Mom is an artist (painter), so growing up, we always went to lots of various museums and exhibitions. I'm very fond of them. Hope you have a great day!
Levendig you're busy today! Sounds like you're a lot like me: guests coming over and you give the house a complete cleaning make-over! But a full house of family, that's a very nice thing to have (provided they all get along, of course!). I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the Guitar Festival. The fiancé and I went out yesterday, had some pancakes, and decided to stop by the local casino to hear the singer/performer Serge. His music was so upbeat and joyful and uplifting: very very nice! He also looks a LOT like my Dad, so that was even more amusing. Have a great day, and don't wear yourself out too much!

I'm not sure how much I'll be around. I've got a terribly long to-do list with commissions and wedding stuff (1 month from today! Rehersal/Pre-wedding and fun fun immigration stuff is Tuesday). But I'll be sure to pop back in every so-often.

Good morning to everyone. I missed you all yesterday. We started out in the morning to plant the rose bush I got for Mothers Day and it snowballed from there. We decided to re do the rock area where we have some other plants, then we needed more edging. And on it went. It was such a nice day we enjoyed working outside. Then the tv took over with the first hockey game between Detroit and Chicago in the playoffs, Extreme Makeover, in Indianapolis, Drags and Survivor. Whew. It was quite a nice day.
So, good Monday morning to Micky, Levendig, Woofie, ( love Cat Stevens, ) and Littleone. Hi Maryerbe and Dragoness.

Hi Sandy... It's always nice to enjoy working outside... Gives you a very statisfied feeling that the garden's more alive with the new Rose bush and a few other plants....

I will have to check on that CD Levendig. I have liked him for so long. We now have 2 rose bushes, one that is a peach color and the new one that is a deep rose color. We actually had to cover them last night, we had frost

Thanks for the goodies, Micky. I kind of overdid the Dutch pancakes in here over the week-end, so I think I'll just stick to tea and cinnamon toast this morning and maybe a few cherries. I don't suppose there's any cream cheese? Thanks for the tune, Woofie.
I'm glad you had such a good time at the Guitar Festival, Levendig. White asparagus are a favorite of mine, too. I had them last week for Mother's Day.

Sandy, who's going to win the Stanley Cup this year? Detroit always seems to do that. Sounds as though you've really been ambitious this week-end! I love roses. I hope your weather warms up!
Speaking of museums, I thought I'd never get through Escape the Museum but I did. If there isn't a tribute page to whoever invented walkthroughs, there should be!
I'm working on Vote 4 Me now. Not that much fun yet. Maybe it gets better.

Dragoness sounds like you will be pretty busy, for the next little while!! I hope your complaints to the housing co. work out!! That finger sounds really sore!!! OUCH!! I sliced the knuckle, where my first finger, joins my hand, on my right hand, a couple of years ago!! It required about 11 stictches.....that really hurt!!!! I still have a bit of a scar!!!
Maryerbe I think I'll wait for a couple of days, to get DC 3!! I don't have a lot of time to spend on the game, for the next few days.......too many shifts at work and too many t.v. season finales coming on!!! LOL
Sandy the rose bushes sound really lovely!! It was nice and sunny here yesterday, but a cold wind!! Not nice enough to do yard work!!! Hopefully we'll get something done this afternoon!!

Thanks Scooter!! I may have to wait until Thurs, or maybe Fri. to dl it, to be ready for the weekend!!! I'll grab a wig, as I'm dling it!! Then I will be ready!!! LOL Have you ever played any of the Scooby Doo games???? I have played a few and I think they are pretty good for kids!!
EDIT: I think I'll go and play something, for a bit....not sure what, yet. We are expecting our niece to stop in, again, on her way back to where she is working, for a little bit. We will have lunch with her and then probably do some yard work. I will see you all later and maybe by then Margie will have been in to share her seceret toy with us, from last night!!! LOLLC

Ashie, are you a hockey fan too? We signed up for Center Ice this year and have been enjoying all the games. We are Detroit Fans. I also like the Ducks, and the Blackhawks. Detroit will probably win if they keep playing like they usually do. But you just never know. The Penguins are still in too. They play tonight.

Scooter, have you seen the ads for that new movie UP. I think it is by the same people who did Toy Story. I am not sure but I think there is a new Toy Story coming too. Grandkids love those movies. The UP movie looks so cute.

Pirate, I haven't seen the UP movie ad yet. I will watch for it. I'm sure if grandson sees it he will tell me. LOL He usually adds, and I want to see it. LOL And then I usually go find it. I think he has my number.
