    Hi all,

    What are your favourite games?

I love the Build-a-lot series and a new game out Hotel Mogul.

It takes a little while to work out the strategy, but once you have them worked out the games are addictive!

These two games will remain on my computer because you can go back to them again and again.

Are there any other games which are similar?

Hi Cazzy.. Welcome here at GZ..

I'm an addicted HOG player and never played any Build-a-lot games, so I don't have any idea..

I think there are many Build-a-lot lovers at GZ and they'll let you know about similar games.

Enjoy the GZ Forum and HAGD..

  • I was just asking this a few

I was just asking this a few days ago over on the BFG forum.

Be Rich is another great game that's a lot like BAL.

Also Plan-It Green - It has a great environmental message although I didn't think it was nearly as well done.

And Aquapolis - which is like BAL only under water.

Oh, and Wonderburg.  BAL with witches and ogres, oh my!

I'm sure people can tell you more but those are the games that were suggested to me.

  • I've been thinking more

I've been thinking more about this and I've got one more suggestion.

    Have you tried Totem Tribe?

It's got lots of different kinds of games in it.  Basically you have to solve a series of puzzles on different islands.

But to do that you have to build towers for defence, and different buildings for people who help you out.  You have to ensure you have enough workers and enough fighters and scouts to figure out what else is on the island.

There is a hidden object component in that you need to find items and gems as you go but there is also a lot of strategy involved.

My DH, who is a huge Sim City and BAL type games, absolutely loved Totem Tribe.  It crosses a lot of genres and might be worth a look.

    Just a thought. Smile
