I've been playing casual games for about 7 years or so now, but have recently noticed that I actually have only very few of those hundreds of games I've played still on my computer! So, which games are on your computer the longest, and which ones do you still replay? Lately, I've noticed so many games that have no replayability value whatsoever, especially amongst the Hide-and-Seek games, which I enjoy for as long as they last, but rarely play again ... I'd love to play some new games, so I'd be glad for suggestions of any treasures I might not have come across yet :) Some of my favorites at the moment: Garden Defense, Burger Shop, TumbleBugs2, The Amazing BrainTrain, Turtle Odyssey, SuperCow, Bookworm Adventures Deluxe ... Thanks! Sandra Send a Kudo Post a Reply Quote & Reply

What a great topic! I am relatively new to PC games so I hope I will see a lot of good suggestions here.

I think word games and some card games have a lot of replay value. My favorite games in this category are: Bookworm Adventures, Word Web Deluxe and Word Travels. Jewel Quest Solitaire II is a good card game with a lot of variety.

I replay Caribbean Hideaway all the time. It is my go to game for relaxation and to heal my tired eyes.

I love to go back and play Azada and Madame Fate because of the mini-games. And after a few week of playing other games I don’t remember where the hidden objects are.

But I am new to this and I really am looking forward to seeing the responses of others on this topic.

  • A very good question indeed.

A very good question indeed. My first casual game was Belle's Beauty Boutique and it is still on my computer, because the replay value is just awesome.
Under this aspect I also recommend strongly the Tradewinds series; it is in the tradition of Sid Meier's Pirates I would say and is as addictive as its idol :)
I would also mention Plantasia that offers stunning graphics, an intruiging story-line and a high difficulty. I could replay this game a dozen times :)
Additionally, Miss Management can easily compete with any (!!) other game when it comes to the plot - a soap opera mixed up with time management, my alltime favorite.
These are the games which come to my mind at first, but I will post again...at least I hope so. And I am looking forward to the suggestions of other players.

Azada is nice to replay and the Mystery Files Case. At the moment I am totally addicted to Dragonstone, being doing it 3 times already.
Tradewinds and Chocolatier are also good to play again. I've kept a few games on the computer and as I am on the FunPass at Gamehouse sometimes I reload all games that I didn't finish or don't remember.

great topic!I also try to separate some games from the Games-folderon my comp, cause I need them often:)There are some games which I still cannot finish-they are very difficult and not one-day-games.
First of all, it the Wonderland series, there are 3 or 4 games, and believe me they are MAGNIFICENT.I even cannot call the genre of them,so unique they are.
Then, I agree about turtle odyssey 1 and 2,i adoreplatformers. There arealso great platformers like Brave Dwarves 2 with level packs,Flo! game,Schlumpiwutz Deluxe,Bud Redhead.
match-3 games- Qubeez all the parts,DYnomite Deluxe,Scrubbles,Blox forever
and some diggers, which can be played many-many times:Treasure Mole,Beetle Ju,Simpaplex(still cannot pass to the end, very difficult)
and I don`t know the genre, maybe puzzle, FiberTwig,a great game. All of them I`ve played 3 and more times.

I love casual games, and have been playing for about 5 years. I am a big HOG fan, but sadly the are rarely very replayable. The game I play the most is Ricochet Infinity, it's my "go to" game when I get bored. There are thousands of new levels, usually several new ones daily. I also really like The Treasures of Montezuma for a bit of change.

hmmm... favorite games that I keep playing... Miss Management... Build a lot (I & II)... Dream Vacation Solitaire (love the variety of Solitaire all in one game)... Dragonstone... Go-go Gourmet... Mahjong Investigation - Under Suspicion... Clue Classic... Newspaper Puzzle Challenge... Puzzle Quest... Bookworm Adventures... all the various Tradewinds...
    (just realized the variety... *wow*)
I love HOGs, but, they don't usually lend themselves to replay... although I definately seem to get my money's worth by the time I finish them... *grin*
