I think you need to look for a cure - perhaps at Kudos Anonymous;)) They may be able to help you, if not, all is lost!

Margie, I'm sure you could hear my evil laugh. I've rarely laughed as evilly as I did right then. It was EVIL. I was scared for a moment, until I realized that I was the one laughing. (Bwhah, ha, ha.) That's okay about the female thing, I'm picking a new avatar. I'm looking for one that looks like they have the body of Jessica Alba and the mind of Stephen Hawking. Because that would be almost like a self-portrait. So far, I've narrowed it down to the one from Nanny Mania, and that cute green blobby thing.

hmmm... just sent a kudo to everyone who's posted on this topic and found out something... kudos are kinda like hugs ~ almost as much fun to give as to get... :) (Speaking of which, maybe there should be a (((HUG))) kudo ~ you know, one you give to cheer someone up??? for instance, when OrangeKnickers was getting discouraged about not hearing back on the new game idea, I'd have loved to give a (((hug)))...)

Joel, thank you for responding to my post. You have created a truly wonderful site here, but I wasn't sure if you were aware of the deeply devastating kudostorm that you've unleashed on the innocent gaming community. I mean, look at poor Traye here. She had a respectable 2 kudos this morning, and now she's up to over 200 - we literally saw a kudodiction (you should trademark that term fast........basically before I do) addict blossom before our very eyes. And MargieB, who seemed like a sensible, well-grounded type of gal in the past, is leaving Kudo Anonymous meetings to go search for more of the 'good stuff.' Scooter is hearing evil laughs while in the kitchen (of course, who doesn't? but still); LindaB is a self-confessed Kudo junkie; and Bubbles, perhaps the most frightening of all, is getting addicted not only to getting kudos, but to giving them. Oh, Joel. Joel, Joel, Joel, Well, I'm not sure what more to say except that I gave you about 5 kudos for your post. Actually, now that I think about it, that's not enough. Think I'll end this message to give you a few more kudos.....I know, it's tough love, but, honestly, you deserve kudos for what you've done. So, maybe you should just think about that!

Kudos to you Blulapis! I laughed so hard I spilled my coffee! But I was really crying on the inside, because like you, I have checked my page just to see if there are any more kudos there. Thanks for sharing. I'm trying not to get too emotional here (hiccup) but it's so nice to know that someone else is going through the same thing. Now, I'm off to find a KA meeting...........

I am happy to make an announcement to you all. I have finally resolved my terrible addiction to kudos. I have solved it. I have conquered. This is how - I have conquered it by plopping down on the floor and giving up. I surrender. Take me, kudos, I am yours. I give up to the kudos. The kudos are too strong for me. If I must live my life as a slave to kudodiction, then I must. I accept my fate. And there are worst fates, I suppose. For example, I could be kudoless. Ah, don't say that, the horror of it. No, no, no, kudos, I am yours forever. And I know that at least I am not alone. No, I shall be amongst my friends, my fellow kudoaddicts here at Gamezebo, and we shall be happy. And as Tiny Tim said (or would have said, if he knew about kudos and lived in the 21st century, and wasn't actually a fiction character that never existed) And Kudos To Us All!

p.s. I started this thread in half-seriousness because I kept logging into Gamezebo just to check my kudos. :-) And then, I got sillier and siller. Glad people thought it was fun. I was also secretly relieved to hear other people do the same thing.....I really enjoyed playing around on this thread, and getting a chance to meet people - I got kudos, invitations for friends, it was cool. This is a really friendly, fun community. Thanks!

Hey Blulapis, you actually cannot send yourself kudos :-) The menu comes up but if you try to click on it, it will not go through. The system was set up like that because Joel knew there would be some Kudo addicts that would try and send it to themselves. Now let me hear that evil laugh one last time!

Absolutely, friend vbushido! :-) MargieB, thank god. If I could send myself kudos, I'd probably get caught in an endless loop of sending myself kudos, and then sending myself back kudos for sending myself kudos, and then sending myself kudos. It's making my head spin. I'd probably lose my job because my boss would ask me to do something, and I'd say "soon. I just need one more kudo....." So, thanks to you and Joel that I haven't lost my job....and my mind. Phew.
