I also downloaded it this morning. The Beta never did work for me since I would not have ActiveX downloaded from the site. At BFG it seems that they download it automatically have you get through installing and before the game starts you have a first time initialization. After reading a few posts here I sure hope it is not another Magic Encyclopedia game. We all remember that BIG mess.
Well off to try the game only problem ifn I cross my fingers for luck I won't be able to play so I guess I will just cross my legs...wish me luck and everybody else who will be playing it today.

I uninstalled, re-downloaded and re-installed, had to start from scratch, but I got to the point where the game would give me error and this time I got past that. So hoping it was a one time thing :)

When I did the evaluation, I had problems loading. But once it finally installed it worked great. It's a nice game. Kind of easy, but entertaining and really nicely done. I think it's a winner.

Just got off the phone with my friend who played this game today. He read everything and payed close attention to everything and he finished this game in a little over two hours. He is somewhat of a beginner to HOG, not a total beginner though, but not advanced either. Just a note, I haven't gotten around to play trough it yet myself :)

I'm stuck in the first scene in Mexico. This is the one with the artifact (sp) under glass protected by laser beams. I've found everything but the key and wire cutter items which are in blue. In tools I have the 3 Steale, 2 dynamites, coins, and large stone.

The only place where there is a blue cursor/gears is on the box. I'm assuming I'll find the key for the box by 'blowing' up or smashing something but there are no other areas that turn blue.
I appreciate any help you can give me. -

You would have to find the wire cutter and the key first. If I remember correctly then the lever to blow the dynamite is in a box which will open with the help of the key only. After you find those items then you would have to cut the wire (just follo the wire with your cuter and you would find the exact place to cut the wire. After cutting the wire you would have to take the slab and place the stone in its place. If I remeber correctly that after you had cut an opening in the tent using the scissors you would find the key on the right hand side of the tent.

I am stuck. I found the Date scroll and only have a black flashlight but ther are no hotspots that I can find to use either so I can leave the room. Its the 4th chapter I think.

deppfans you have to use the magnifying glass and put it on the track of the bull dozer and the paper clip will automatically show up...

I'm on my last rose, have outfitted the big guy, Samantha says everything is found there but PDA is on the list line and there are no tools, plus the hint keeps hitting up toward ceiling but there is nothing up there that I can see and I can't get an exit arrow, so anyone have any idea what to do next?

Did you try using the brush on the big wall over the small ringed bases? Oh, and you need to find all the urns or jars for the bases. The parchment goes on the small boat on the pedestal (for a sail) that opens up that base to show one of the urns/jars. When that mural puzzle is revealed you then use the scroll to help solve it.
