I know I really love a game when I have to stay up all night to play it....with one eye open but determined to finish it because I just have to know how it ends :-) Send a Kudo Post a Reply

I know I love a game when I am at work and literally cannot think about anything else. I rush home, change into pj's, get my Diet Coke (that's a given all the time, though :))and then proceed to ignore everything else until I have played so long that I start making really stupid mistakes!!!
It happens alot more than I would like to admit!!! Tracey Send a Kudo Post a Reply -
I know I love a certain game when I can't wait to play it, can't think of anything else (especially a boring evening at work, when nothing to do!!) and everything goes by the wayside (housework!!:) ) until the game is finished. Then I am really disappointed that it is over!! Just like a good book!!

Glad to see I'm not the only one lol!! I've spent entire days at work replaying levels in my head trying to come up with better solutions/higher scores, which brings me to another question-do you play for expert scores or just to finish the game? Send a Kudo Post a Reply

I know that I really adore a game when friends call me and wonder why I did not talked to them the last few days. But that happens rarely, fortunately :) The only game where one really could have called me "addicted" was the first part of the "Sims"-series. I spent weeks only playing this game :) Send a Kudo Post a Reply

For myself I am like Margie I keep plugging away until I am finished or until I am soo stuck I can't go on.
Then I stay awake all night trying to figure out how to finish.I am stuck on a few at the moment Return to Mystery Island, Amazon, and Ghost Dogs.
But I will plug away all summer, and lose alot of sleep till I finish.....
That's how I know I love a game...

Finishing game vs expert scores? Depends on the game. With some games I just want to get through it to see how it ends, then I will replay them to better my score!! I'm not great at them, but sometimes I do do better on the second try. With HO games I don't always remember where I found things before!! Good memory, but short, sometimes.

When it's 2 am (next day I'm going off to work early) and I still *need* to play "just one more level" before sleep... When at work I think only about getting back home and playing some more... And when after a weak, with my eyes red from strain, I come to my job screaming "I finished it!!!", and then start to bother our producers that "we *have* to make a game like this someday!" =D.
That means I'm in love with a game! ;)

Hi TeeGee! Great to have you here. If you're still cruising around the forums, check out the thread started by Orangeknickers called 'New idea for Dash/Time Management/Strategy Game'. He has some very good ideas for a new game.
Sorry to get off topic guys Send a Kudo Post a Reply

How do you know if you love a game? For me it's if I can't wait to get home to play it or if I'm trying new stratagies in my head(then going home to try it). What about you guys? Send a Kudo Post a Reply
