I didn't find that one to be too short at all, although it all takes place in one location.

A couple longer ones you might like are Curse of Blackmoor Manor or Secret of Shadow Ranch. -
Thanks. The walkthrough tells me there is much more to this game - just as I thought. I am either doing something wrong or there must be some trick I'm missing or something wrong with the game.
I get as far as the staircase and the chandalier. When the chandalier crashes and the voices tell Nancy off, that is when the game seems to end. The voices tell her they hope she doesn't cause trouble if she comes back or visits someone else (words to that effect).
I also cannot figure out how to access the telephone to call for hints on my second attempt at playing this.
Any further help will really be appreciated!

Thanks. I have gone to the HerInteractive site for help but there isn't anything there that pertains to the problems I'm having with this.
I didn't mean that I thought the game is too short - just that it seems like it's ended when it would be impossible as it's way too early in the plot. Maybe a better choice of words is to say it seems like the game is stuck. It just takes you back over the same rooms and the same items in the rooms you've already visited and the end seems to be when the chandalier crashes from the ceiling.
Any further ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The game "ended" because a chandelier coming down on your head would probably kill you. Go back to the menu screen and use the "Second Chance" to try the challenge you were attempting again.

At Her Interactive you have to be very specific on what you are looking for , even in your subject title, you can't just write "help", it has to say "help with fireplace" or something. Or look at the answers to other peoples questions.
If you use the Gameboomers walkthrough it takes you through step by step, so you can look there and start from where you missed.I have the actual CD version, so there may also be a bug in the download if you've already had the chandelier fall.
