What a cool idea Keri! And when you go to the table to sign in and pick up your name tag, it would have your screen name and avatar on it and they would also hand you a mask that looks like your avatar! And there would be a HUGE booth called Breakfast and News! There, all of Kayleigh's goodies would be spread out and copies of the News would also be scattered about. Oh, and of course we can't forget the BLUTT booth! Blu could get a new tiara just for the occasion (She is descended from Royalty, ya' know). It would be such a spectacular event! Even much more exciting than one of those Trekkie conventions. We could call it the Annual GZ Family Reunion!

Oh, and it should be held on a tropical island somewhere, too.

I do this several times a year already as a Dungeons & Dragons player/judge. Most gaming conventions have a video gaming track, and last Origins Games Expo I saw the computer bank had Bejeweled! :) I have gone to many gaming conventions and rarely paid for admission because I've usually donated time to volunteer as a worker in some capacity (usually judging for an organized D&D campaign). As a gamer friend put it, "Every year I go to GenCon to hang out and play with my 30,000 closest friends."

that is a great idea! if we have it in san francisco, we can use my place, but it's pretty small (just one bedroom)
just kidding about my place, but seriously, that is a great idea. if you are serious about a get together sometime next year, i can help out. if it was a get-together in a city where there are a bunch of casual game companies (san francisco, seattle), i could probably arrange for some meetings with your favorite casual game companies as well.

Wouldn't it be cool if there was the same type of thing for all of us. We have so much fun playing games and meeting in forums like Gamezebo (although none better). We meet so many people virtually and share so much about ourselves to people we've never seen in person, wouldn't it be great if we actually could have a "reunion" of sorts?
I know I'm just dreaming, but it's a happy dream and I'm keeping it! Everyone else feel the same way?
