As I was curious after the preview I googled the pini society (http://pinisociety.org/game.aspx) and downloaded the demoversion of this game and I would like to share my first impressions with you :).

As Erin already said in the preview, you have to find and protecting mankind's sacred treasures. And you do this by solving a puzzle. For every solved puzzel, you get a part of an artifact, when it is complete, you made the level and get even more information about the artifact, the area, the people, which had to do with it.

The puzzles seems to be easy in the beginning. You see on your screen a picture, made out of diffrent shapes, which all fit together (diffrent colors)(I think, 'tangram' is the right word for this shapes, but Im not that sure). On the bottom of your screen you have a bar, which keeps parts of the puzzle. Your game is it, to fill the picture with the right shape.

To do this, you can of course pick up one tile and fit it into the picture, but as you have a timer (and the time is not really generously calculated) you have to fit bigger parts of the whole in front at your working place.

Your goal is it, to reach the score in time. For each tile you get points, as bigger your builded part is, as higher the points. The level is done, when you filled all parts of the picture by your self, or when you reach the scoregoal (which is of course automatically reached, when you manage it, to fill the picture all by yourself).

As this sounds much easier than it is, you will have to discover powersymbols, a combination of two or more tiles, which give you, by building and fitting them into the picture, additional helps. One for example adds only 100 or 200 points to your score, another one adds tiles into the picture.

In your journal you can see, which tiles you discovered and what they do. The journal can be used everytime during the game. In there you can also re-read all the informations you already discoverd.

Another help for reaching your goal is Tesla`s bulb, which fills up by making points. Depending on the color, Tesla`s bulb shows, when it is filled, you get several helps, as for example:it shows all powersymbols on the screen and gives you the tiles you need for it. Or it shows the building possiblities you have with the tiles in your bar.

You also have a recycling-bin, where you can drop tiles you dont need and a shuffle possibilty, to shuffle the tiles fast, when you need a special one for a powersymbol for example.

There is also a second mode '(your playing mode is 'explore'which is called 'discover', but I dont know, when it will be unlocked.

At all it seems to be a hard game, a long game and a game, which is worth to be played, when you are interested in the historical stories. And I also found the website very interesting.

Im looking forward to the full version of this game :)

Thanks Kayleigh for the link! I´m very lazy:) It looked fun but rather hard. I was so fixed with the work table. It was easier just to hurry up and put them one by one. I didn´t have time to do the whole demo because i´m off to work now.
