    For all of you that Beta Test for Alawar, They have another entry. Stand O'Food 2. I admit I bought the first installment because I was doing so well during the demo, I even finished it. But I never imagined they would make a sequel. Oh well they have. The graphics are a little better than the first, the characters are different and the upgrades are actually useful. Like a Scramble Machine that makes it easier to make the orders when you run out of possibilities! and there are children that affect everyone's patience so there is a Teddy Bear Machine so you can hand out TBears if the kids start crying,

    The assembly process is the same but besides burgers, chicken sandwiches, egg sandwiches and Fish sandwiches, you will also be assembling Lasagna, and Cakes, depending on the restaurant.

    All in all not a bad game, but not one I would pay full price for, I'll wait for it to get to BFG, Any Alawar Testers check your email inbox and tell me what you think!

  • You have in the beginning

    You have in the beginning only one option to put things away. So you find yourself waiting till the levels ends (last customer lost patient). Customers loose patient very fast, even with the musicbox (the only patientimprover you have in the beginning), so you have too much stuff, which will make you unable to serve other customers when the level comes to an end. Loosing customers doesnt mean that much, as you can win a level even if you loose a bunch of them, but its annoying and frustrating. Later in the game, you get as upgrade an ingredience-mixer, that helps a lot, but I would think, that it makes more sence, to not make the gamer annoyed and frustrated at the beginning of the game.The updates are helpful, but you never know, when you get one. Sometimes next level starts without giving you the opportunity to get an upgrade, sometimes you can choose one, sometimes you can choose even too. Updates have nothing to do with your earned money, it seems, because they have no prizes. Would be more clever to do it, as in other games, where you get the updates for your earned money. So at least you have the feeling, to have a real goal. Its not always clever to change things, to make your game diffrent ;)Some of the dishes are hard to see. You should always take your curser over the dish to see a bigger picture.All in all, a game, that might get interesting after a while, but in the beginning its frustrating. In my opinion a game, that really needs more polish, before release.

    Actually, the upgrade depends on
    the money you earn. You need to get a suitcase full of money to buy or upgrade anything. Suppose if you feel that you dont want to buy any upgrasde at a certain level, then you can carry forward that suitcase to the next round. Hope this would help you.
