Pastry Passion Review

Forgive me if I don't come across as an expert in this review. Don't get me wrong; I've played plenty of match-three games. And after watching an endless parade of them hit the market, I sitll enjoy them. It' sjust that I do have a life, and therefore haven't played every single one. So the gameplay in Pastry Passion might not be unique. I don't know. But it is fun.

Mirror Magic Deluxe Review

You may remember those puzzles in kids magazines that challenge readers to study two nearly identical pictures and find subtle differences between them.

This is the basic premise behind Mirror Magic Deluxe, a new casual game download that borrows heavily from those old brainteasers, but adds a story mode, colorful graphics and new twists to the game-play.

Sunset Studio Deluxe Review

If you've ever dreamed of being in the movies, be sure to give Sunset Studio Deluxe an audition. Chances are you're likely to cast this fun Hollywood-inspired hidden object game in a starring role as your next desktop obsession. Apart from a few flaws - similar-looking objects, vague clues, the ability to only tackle a single scenario at once - it's a surefire crowd-pleaser, if not particularly epic or Oscar-worthy entry into the genre.

Hotel Mahjong Review

Casual gamers who played last year's Hotel Solitaire might get a sense of deja vu while entering the lobby, elevator and hallways of Hotel Mahjong, as this is the second in the series from Zylom to fuse a luxurious stay at a hotel/casino and classic solitaire games. But don't worry - the similarities end once you step into a hotel room to begin hitting the tiles.

Shangri La 2 - Deluxe Review

Fans will be pleased to hear that they can visit Shangri La for a second time in this sequel to the popular word game. With a greater number of levels and some notable new gameplay twists, Shangri La 2 - Deluxe is an all-around better game than the first title, even though its idiosyncratic dictionary takes some getting used to.

Delicious 2 Deluxe Review

Thanks to the rise of culinary TV programs, cookery and catering have well and truly entered the mainstream, shedding the old fashioned image of chain smoking chefs with fake French twangs and battleaxe middle aged ladies pummeling pastry to within an inch of its life with rolling pins. Unsurprisingly, the games industry has been quick to catch on and in Delicious 2 Deluxe, we have another in a long line of colorful, multitasking restaurant sims.

Safari Island Deluxe Review

It's sometimes difficult to tell one mah jong game from the next since many of them stick closely to the appearance and rules of the original ancient Chinese tile-matching pastime. While there's nothing wrong with re-creating the classic mah jong experience, Zylom earns kudos for breaking a whole lot of new ground with Safari Island Deluxe.

Yahtzee Review

It's hard to screw up a computerized version of Yahtzee. Translate the rules, render decent graphics, make sure the interface is clean, and you've done your job. What isn't easy, however, is creating a digitized version of the Milton Bradley classic that adds cool twists without losing the heart of what makes the real world version enjoyable. The good news is, Zylom has done just that with its new Yahtzee offering for casual gamers.

Text Express 2 Review

Wordsmiths looking for a new challenge after finishing Bookworm Adventures Deluxe should definitely take a spin with Text Express 2.

Zylom's latest is a fun and frantic word creation game that builds upon hits like Text Twist, but adds multiple game modes, power-ups and, well, lots of trains. Climb aboard, because it's a blast.
