Success Story Review
Flipping burgers and serving fries makes you a success story? It does if you own your own burger franchise! That's the idea behind Success Story, a hectic burger-themed time management game.
Success Story Preview
Shape Games, a part of G5 Entertainment Group (Stand O'Food, Mahjongg Artifacts and Supermarket Mania), is releasing a new game next month: the burger cooking time management game Success Story.
Paranormal Agency Review
For people who complain that hidden object games are getting too complicated and straying too much from their roots, there's always a game like Paranormal Agency. This run-of-the-mill hidden object game with a supernatural twist offers pure seek-and-find gameplay (with the odd skippable puzzle thrown in) but suffers from a meandering story and a few other minor issues.
Stand O'Food 2 Review
Popular as the original proved to be, with a name like Stand O'Food 2, you'd expect the latest time management outing from Alawar to be a bit cumbersome. Lo and behold, suspicions are quickly confirmed, as this puzzler's bizarre play mechanics, half-baked production values and poor translation job immediately reveal. Thankfully, as with its predecessor, what starts out as a clumsy mouse-mashing challenge soon becomes a fun and frantic way for aspiring restauranteurs to practice firing up the grill.
Mystery Cookbook Review
It's not because I just returned from visiting Pixar Animation Studios that I find similarities in the story between the animated flick, Ratatouille, and Alawar's new hidden object game, Mystery Cookbook. After all, both follow a mouse/rat who wants to be a skilled chef. Um, sound familiar? While we won't dock points for story unoriginality, we must in the gameplay department, and for other issues, which we'll soon get to.
Mahjongg Artifacts 2 Review
Considering that the classic game that it's based on is literally centuries of years old, at face value, you'd think it would be hard for Mahjongg Artifacts 2 to innovate on a winning formula. Thankfully, you'd also be wrong, as the popular series strikes gold yet again in its latest installment, which offers more tile-matching, treasure-hunting fun for enthusiasts of all types.
