Bob the Builder: Can-Do Zoo Review

Bob the Builder represents one of the more educational and constructive properties in modern kiddy pop culture. Not only are his books and television shows instructive, they also contain important themes such as conservationism and gender equality. Hence, the reason why I was willing ot let my three-year-old daughter have at Bob's latest interactive adventure: Bob the Builder: Can Do Zoo, from Brighter Minds and Diner Dash and Jojo's Fashion Show creator Gamelab.

Jojo's Fashion Show 2: Las Cruces Review

Moreso than any other industry, haute couture can be a brutal field - one week you're in... literally the next out. Case in point: Jojo's Fashion Show 2, which, while building on its predecessor's successful formula, fails to turn quite as amny heads. Despite offering more of what casual gaming fans already know and love (clothes, styles, chic-themed challenges, etc.), the title feels more lika glorified expansion pack than proper sequel, even if longtim admirers will hardly be disappointed.

Bob the Builder: Can-Do Zoo Preview

Children's software publisher Brighter Minds is excited about the upcoming release of its first downloadable game, Bob the Builder: Can-Do Zoo, and gave us some screenshots to share with you. Although Gamezebo doesn't often preview kids' games, we're making an exception in this case since the co-developer is none other than Gamelab, the creators of Diner Dash, Miss Management, Jojo's Fashion Show and other games that we love.

Plantasia Review

GameLab and PlayFirst, creators of last year's hit Diner Dash have bloomed early this 2006 with Plantasia; a blend of action, strategy, and a light coating of fairy dust, hovering neatly around the surprisingly frantic world of horticulture.

Egg vs. Chicken Review

Instead of the age-old question - which came first: the chicken or the egg? - the zany game folks over at gameLab and Playfirst are asking a different question: is the egg stronger than the chicken?

Diner Dash Review

Most of us have seen an act in which a juggler spins plates - keeping dozens of dinner plates rotating on top of tall poles. The artists frantically runs from one plate to the next, giving it an extra spin if it looks like it's about to slow down and crash to the floor. Somehow, the plates never seem to fall, and she never breaks a sweat.

Jojo's Fashion Show Review

If you're a fan of popular television shows like Project Runway or just can't seem to walk the mall without stopping to browse every last boutique, chances are Jojo's Fashion Show will be just the game for you. Jointly produced by iWin and Gamelab, the title is an interesting take on the typical time management formula that challenges would-be runway divas to put their eye for style, color and coordination to the test.
