It may be time for all the other Facebook developers to go home (barring, perhaps, PopCap). In terms of concept, Pac-Man S is such a perfect Facebook game that it’s hard to imagine how anything else could compete. Pac-Man S uses a Bejeweled Blitz-like format where you attempt to get the highest score possible in two minutes of play. As your score increases, the game becomes faster-paced and more challenging. Players can opt to spend a virtual currency called points on up to two power-ups from a group of four to customize the experience.

Empires & Allies is CityVille with guns. At least, on the surface. It takes the formula that has made CityVille the biggest game to ever grace Facebook, but builds off of it, adding engaging, approachable combat and a narrative that creates a true sense of progression. This leads to an overall better game, and one where you’re doing more than simply building up the biggest island nation possible: you’re also defending it from evil.

In Velocispider you control the title character, who’s a half-velociraptor half-spider.... um, thing.... that has a cannon mounted on it’s back.
