iPhone: Doodle Jump

You know that feeling the first time you played the Yeti game where you whack the penguin with a bat and send it flying across the screen? When I first played the Yeti online game years ago, I kept trying to beat my high score (sending the poor penguin further and further) and before I knew it, an hour had gone by. That's what happened to me the first time I played Doodle Jump by Lima Sky. This simple, yet ridiculously addictive little game will suck you in . . . you'll find yourself playing over and over until you have to tear yourself away or risk spending your entire day on a quest to become the Doodle Jump master.

Cake Mania: Main Street Review

Sandlot Games sort of went off the deep end for Cake Mania 3, sending our favorite heroine baker Jill on a freaky time-traveling journey to recover missing family members and serve up thousands of delicious frosted delights for a menagerie of dinosaurs, mummies, and wizards. Cake Mania: Main Street sees Jill settling back into the slightly more normal routine of trying to revive her hometown of Bakersfield. This time she brought her friends, and there's a lot far more than baking in store for you.

Mystery Age: The Imperial Staff Review

Normally, I frown at people who click through a game's story as fast as possible. The story is there to give you a reason for solving the puzzles/finding the items/doing whatever it is you're supposed to be doing as you play, so  paying at least some attention to it seems only fair. But the story of Mystery Age: The Imperial Staff will only reduce your enjoyment of the game, so click away as fast as you can.
